Shady... tried to charge me full $1700 amount 4 days after getting it lol, will double bill me, 5 different reps told me 5 DIFFERENT ANSWERS regarding how to stay in compliance to get my insurance to cover it... I also tried to return my cpap but they said must sign AMA doc stating against medical advice. I said I had a note approving return from doctor, they saw and confirmed in their system, yet a week later still tried to force me to sign something.

I have called my health insurance Anthem and let them know all there notes and had added to my account.

Shady. Sleazy. Rude. Ignorant. Two timing. Scamtastic. I cant give enough negative opinions of this company. What a joke!

Terrible, terrible company. I keep receiving calls for my account, even though my account has a $0 balance. Customer service talks in circles, they are rude, and unable to provide customer service. I feel these extra charges are fraudulent. I paid the balance($270) just to keep from getting calls from this company. It's to the point where they are harassing me. I will ensure that i never do business with AdaptHealth or Aerocare ever again.

Similar to other reviewers, I had the same bad experience. Their rent-to-own “system” is deliberately set up to be confusing. They claimed non- compliance and demanded return of the CPAP and then invoiced us for $191, even though the insurance company had already paid them. Just buy a machine instead of using AdaptHealth. They are scammers

I'm only giving AdaptHealth a 1 because 0 is not an option!!!! This company is a nigh mare to deal with! They double bill, double charge and can't provide an explanation as to what you are even being billed for! To the point that I believe is criminal. This company needs to be audited! BIG TIME!! When I received my CPAP machine I was told that in order to get my insurance to pay for the machine I had to use it 3 months to prove that I was using it as prescribed. And until then I would have to rent on the machine and that the amount I paid in rent would be put toward the purchase of the machine once it cleared insurance. Oh! And that in order to do that I had to put a credit or debit card on file for auto pay. WELL that was where it started..... at this point I'm being billed and charged for I don't know what and they can't tell me either. I get statements randomly, sometimes two or three a month for amounts that have already been debited from my bank account for random service date where they have not provided me any service. I tried to turn off autopay they said I had to do that online. I get online create an account. Guess what? you cant turn off auto pay online you have to call..... after several attempts and nasty calls I get auto pay turned off. I'm still greeting billed and for who knows what! I'm not paying them and now I'm getting late notices and late charges. You cant get any help from this company you cant understand the billing staff! They talk around in circles only to try to make you feel stupid and even more confused!! STAY AWAY FROM ADAPTHEALT!!!!! PLEASE!!!!

Terrible company! No wonder it is not rated by the BBB. I paid for a nebulizer over the phone in December as my deductible was already paid. I was traveling and could not pick it up until the beginning of January. Even though I paid for it on December the company does not considered it paid for until you pick it up so they don’t bill insurance until January which then made me pay 10 times the amount ($8.16 vs $82.00) because of the new deductible amount! I was advised by the representative to pay in December because it would be much cheaper so I did.I What a racket! I would think this would be considered consumer fraud but I am not an attorney. I had no choice but to pay the remaining amount or they send you to collections. This company should be looked into for unethical practices. I did try to talk to several representatives of the company and they didn’t care.

Adapt health has horrible customer service. I started out with medical necessities 6 years ago. They sold out to AeroCare and then they sold out to Adapt Health. With each sale they have severely went down hill with customer service. You can't send a email to billing to dispute charges, so when you call and wait thought the 3 minute menu you get a Rep in India that just reads prompts. When you ask for a state side rep they act like they can't hear you and hang up. I tried calling the resupply number and after explaining the situation got treated the same way. They bill for product you have not received or ordered which is illegal in the US. I understand insurance makes them bill monthly, but if you don't order for 6 month's then it should go on the previous three months for the billing. It is also illegal to bill for product received in the previous year on the new year's deductible. I have stopped ordering through them and will order everything through amazon. Amazon is cheaper and less headache to deal with. I order my stuff, pay for it when I order it and it shows up in 24 to 48 hours with amazon, unlike Adapt health where it might shoe up in 6 days or possibly 14 days like it has before multiple times. At least with Amazon you get a tracking number and have a clue where it is. With Adapt health you never know when its coming and if you are away from the house they leave the medical supplies on the doorstep in rain, etc... I have never been so disgusted with a companies customer service as adapt health - Aero care. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I'm sure this review will do no good just like my calls to them, but hopefully someone considering doing business with them will see this and not deal with the headache that this company is in every possible way.

This is a terrible company to deal with. A service rep called me last week March 14, 2023 and said I had to return my equipment because I was not at 70% usage during my INITIAL USAGE period April-May 2022. I advised that was 11 months ago and I am using the machine as best I can. After several back-and-forth comments I requested a supervisor and was told by the rep she would "TRY" to have a supervisor call me back. No supervisor has ever called me back. I called again and spoke to another rep and was advised to return the equipment even though I just received supplies when I was at 70% in December 2022. You have to be at 70% usage to get supplies.

I called my pulmonologist after the awful encounter last week and got a new prescription and paid cash for a new CPAP machine through a CPAC supply website.

I called Adapthealth back today and spoke with Chris and advised her I had a new machine and needed to get instructions on returning the leased CPAP equipment. I was advised by her that I would have to sign documents including an AMA form. I asked what the AMA form was and was advised I am returning the equipment against medical advice. WHAT A JOKE! I told her NO I AM NOT. I AM RETURNING THE EQUIPMENT BECAUSE TWO DIFFERENT CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS HAVE TOLD ME THAT I HAVE TO RETURN THE EQUIPMENT. I have purchased MY OWN machine now and am continuing the therapy through my physician's office. These folks think that they are medical professionals, and they are not. As a matter of fact, there is nothing professional about this company or the service that they provide.

We can't get an answer as to what the bill is for? Suppose if you send everyone a bill for small amounts people will pay most without question. We never ordered or received sleep supplies from them or anyone for that matter.

This company is a JOKE. They cannot keep their billing straight or follow simple instructions. Every time I place an order, they send me the wrong thing, then after I return it, they continue to send me bills. They call my house incessantly to try to get me to buy supplies, which is ridiculous and annoying. A member of the household has trouble sleeping, so I asked REPEATEDLY that they not call until noon or later. I was told (repeatedly) that a note had been placed on the account with those instructions, but they continued to call multiple times a week between 8-9 a.m.. When my fiancee called in and asked them to NEVER call the house again because of this, she spoke to a rep named Angela, who gave her attitude, and said, "Excuse me, whoever you are . ." as if she was some sort of imposter. She also refused to put our number on the Do Not Call list until she spoke to me, which is ridiculous because I had just spoken to them 3 days prior and told them that I did not need any supplies and to stop calling my house before noon.
These people have NO IDEA what they are doing.
