    Took my car for overheating while A/C was on and check engine light on.
    Charged me $200 to tell me I needed new cooling fans. My neighbor diagnosed the same problem in 15 minutes knowing nothing about cars, using internet and logic. Told me repair cost would be $1,100. $600 for fans +$500 labor.
    AAMCO shop rate $160 (not posted where I could see it). Average hourly repair rate in my area (US Labor Statistics) 75-135/hour.
    Told me Autozone charges $300 for each fan ($600 total). Autozone actually charges $148 for BOTH fans.
    Told me replacement would cost $500 labor. Average labor cost for cooling fan replacement in my area $265-$323
    You be the judge. IMO Ripoff. I am headed to court directly after writing this review.

    I've had my vehicle in to Aamco for almost 5 months. They are working on replacing the third transmission. $7000, 5 mths, 3 transmission and still no vehicle. They make up excuses and lies. Very unprofessional. Extremely poor quality work. Jeff (GM) says " it will be done when it's done". It's a 8 hr job and it's been 2 months this time.
