I've been subscribing to this newspaper for decades. These past few months delivery has been very inconsistent. There has been no week in the past month where I have received my 6 daily issues. When I call the subscription number all that is done is.....well basically nothing. They either take an automated complaint or I speak with someone who's accent is very hard to understand and doesn't seem to care. Every month $27 comes out of my bank account like clockwork. I know I can read the paper online but I also prefer to have a physical issue. You don't get the store ads with the online version. I'm not the only person I know who is having delivery issues. I feel like the print edition will be coming to end either by them or just canceled by me. They should be ashamed of themselves.

I have subscribed to this newspaper for years. Recently, after being sold to another company in the last year, the home delivery service is terrible. First off, they stopped printing and delivering a physical copy on Mondays (I believe before being sold), where you had to read online. I had an automatic payment plan that took payment from my checking account. Without notice, a few months ago, they raised the price of a monthly subscription. I then changed my subscription to weekends only, for Saturday and Sunday edition delivery. Went fine for a few weeks, then my papers werent being delivered. I called and reported every weekend. Then I might get a paper the next week, or not. Still they took the monthly payment out of my account without ever getting a refund or a newspaper. One weekend I received both papers on Sunday. Last week I received the Sunday paper on Monday. There isnt any rhyme or reason, or any consistency whatsoever. I have not received over 8 newspapers, nor have I received any reimbursement for not getting the service I paid for. I just called today to cancel my subscription and I was told that they cant reimburse me monetarily. Can offer me a lower rate, and informed me that my subscription will be cancelled in September (?). Today is July 29th, so that means they are going to take $15 out of my checking account in August to pay for services not received. The company that bought the newspaper should be charged with fraud and deception.
