      I paid penske 29100$ down payment for a proven semi truck. I drove it home and it turn off on me Multiple times as I was driving it I informed them about it. Later on I found out that the truck was still under someone irp account and they did not suppose to sell it like that i was not able to work due to this. I informed brooke P******* about it and I told her due to these two issues I did not want the truck any more I never went over the mileage for the buy back. She told me only time they buy back trucks if they are damaged which it is because two master mechanic said the engine is severely damaged. She agreed with the buy back then out of no where she changed her mind and stop responding to me. Joshua K*** call me the supervisor and told me to send him a picture of the mileage posted on the dashboard of the truck to make sure its not over the mileage limit and it was not. I told him since the truck is was sold illegally under someone irp account and damaged I did not want it anymore he agreed and stop responding.

      Penske is very sorry to hear of **. *****'s continued frustration as we strive to ensure each customer has a positive experience purchasing a Penske Used Truck.  Penske and **.  ***** finalized the sale of unit ****** on 6/9/22, and ************** arranged for pickup of the vehicle on 6/16/22.  Per the bill of sale governing this agreement Penske allows the purchaser fifteen days to report any condition issues that did not mee the terms of sale.  ************** did not notify Penske of any issues with the condition of the vehicle until 8/8/22.  Even given this elapsed time ************** was directed to obtain an estimate from a third party vendor for Penske to review potential assistance in order to ensure his satisfaction.  The purchase of the vehicle also included a third party warranty through National Truck Protection, which Penske advised the customer to utilize as well.  Additionally, the bill of sale outlines that following payment of the full purchase price, the vehicle and corresponding title will be made available to the purchaser.  The Title to the vehicle was released following the payment on 6/16/22.  On 7/19/22 ************** notified Penske of an issue he had with IRP registration.  This issue was rectified with IRP within the same day.  Penske remains willing to assist ************** and encourages him to contact us at ************.

      I am rejecting this response because: now don't sit up here and play as if yall didn't do anything wrong you sold I truck that was under someone irp account and the truck is **** up I. Don't sit up here and lie and keep talking about 15 days which I told brooke about the truck a certain mileage for post sale complaint was told to me. This 15 day **** is all  a lie if 15 days was the case why would broke or Joshua  suggest a buy back let's not play games if you don't refund my money I will take legal action

      Date of transaction: 08/12/22 I need to speak to someone concerning a truck rental from Duluth GA to Forney Texas. I spoke to someone name Gabriel, and he did not appear to be concerned about my issue with your company. He stated that he was a manager, however, he didn't deal with this issue as if he was in leadership. I was given a truck that was having transmission issues and it was a known issue. This is not acceptable considering they knew I was going from Duluth to Forney. This was the second issue, the first issue was they did not have the truck available at the location of pick up and I had to work for over 2hours, they brought this truck knowing of these issue. My safety was not important to this company. A trip that should have been only 11 hours was 17 hours because of the speed you were able to travel. If you went over 50mph the truck would shake. When the tow driver picked up the truck he stated that the transmission was out. To add insult the demeanor of Gabriel, states that he was a manager, I am floored with how he communicated with me. I also have a video as to how the truck was struggling going down the highway. Please have someone from your corporate office reach out to me.

      The customer received an 89% discount for their rental picked up on 8/12. The remaining balance due was 384.13 which was also refunded back onto the customer card on 8/17, essentially providing a full refund for the rental due to mechanical issues

      We have also discovered that on her last 3 rentals she has received up to 90% in discounts for each rental due to complaints.

      Penske will not take financial responsibility for a repair has enabling truck to operate. They continue to state the post sale is out there timeline The poor workmanship happened at a Penske repair center within the timeline of being paid for. The repair center substituting parts and wrongfully placed the parts damaged the unit. This caused more issues and the truck has been in and out of Penske repair since pick up. June 17, 2022. The damage was caused within the timeline and Penske should pay for the damage caused by Penske repair technician (s) as soon as possible. The truck has been sitting in a shop for a month. I have loss wages since the purchase causing possible bankruptcy of my company.

      We negotiated a deal and bought a truck with penske.They gave us two weeks to report any issues with the truck.We reported the truck had an engine light on the second day we got the truck.We attempted the repairs while we waited penske to reach out to us. They went off for several days and engaged us back later saying we had completed the 15days required to file a complaint. They completely assumed and wished away our complaints. They decided to engage again and asked us to take the truck to a vendor and diagonse. The diagnosis revealed serious engine problems they had not mention during the purchase.They took afew days for review and emailed back saying they can't do anything for us at this point. We intend to get a response on this matter while we consider going to the court and to the consumer protection agency.

      7/29/22 truck to go to Newcastle from my home which was 75 miles one way I went 150 miles I come back I get billed saying that I went 1,219 miles. Someone has read or wrote wrong info. I have been charged $1,517.64. This is wrong, I also got an empty truck, cost me $99.00, to fill, girl M.M****** told me I would get reimbursed. When I went to office T. S****, told me they don't do that. What is the deal. I will never use penske again. They reimbursed me $1086.60 then recharged me $998.37. My bill should have been 500.00, if that. Please help me .They already charged me $517.27.

We did see that there was an overbill of mileage and this was rectified on the rental agreement. The final bill for this customer was a total of $431.04.       I recently rented a truck from Penske on July 1, 2022. When I was checking out I spoke with the representative about a security deposit needing to be placed. They asked me for a $1,000 to hold for damages. Not everyone has to give that, but in my case for some reason they asked me for it. I promptly gave them the money. Since it was a cashier’s check I was told by the representative at the counter that it would NOT be deposited but just held until the truck was returned. My father was also there and heard him say the exact same thing. I rented from them for 3 weeks. I returned the truck in the same condition it was given to me. No damages. I went to return the truck on July 22, 2022, and the same representative told me that my check was deposited and it would take 12-15 business days to get it back. I called again today August 1, 2022, and now the status has changed and they are now saying it takes 25-30 business days to get my security deposit back.       It is required that all new commercial rental customers pay a security deposit, the amount is based on our credit check on the business. I spoke with ******* of *** ************* on 08-04-2022, there was a miscommunication as to when her deposit would be released back to her. Our associate told her that we would not be submitting this deposit to our corporate office which was incorrect. Cashier checks we receive locally are required to be submitted to our corporate office we do not keep cashier’s checks for deposits at our local branches. When the unit is returned by the customer, an inspection is done by our rental team to verify no new damage occurred. Once no new damage is verified, we proceed to request the deposit from our corporate office, in which only then will they mail a check for the amount of the deposit submitted to the customer’s address that we have on file. The time it takes for the check to arrive solely depends on the mail carriers. *******’s check for the amount of the deposit, $1,000 was mailed on 08-02-2022 and I advised her that this check would arrive in 5 to7 business days from the date it was mailed.

      We started the process of purchasing a 2017 26ft box truck unit ****** May of 2022. After tons and tons of back and forth, false hope, sign this, we have to review this, we have to make sure the truck is in tip top shape. This went on until around 6/24 when we were cleared to come get the truck At this point we had losses of 2k on insurance bc they kept changing pick up date. June 27th 2022 is the day we picked up the truck; It honestly wasnt pick up ready and we believe lights were on. They pleaded with us to let them take some decal off the door of the truck but in all honesty I think they were turning service lights off b/c we didnt see a decal and due to the distraction and being tire from traveling from Ga to PA(location of truck) once they distracted us we weren't able to stop them and take another peak inside the truck. A few hours into the drive different service lights popped on (check engine and engine protect were the first two). We immediately called penske and they pretty much advised that we are on our own due to the location we were in and that they would need to set up service with one of their partners. This was a holiday weekend of course so being that the service email was set up July 1st we weren't able to be seen til July 5th. On July 5th we woke up to take the truck to ***** ***** ************ in Forest park and even more problems arose with air coming out of the bottom of truck and causing the truck to not be manageable. I pulled over and had to wait and be towed. Penske chosen service company had the truck from 7/5 til currently. Penske takes 3-4 days to review estimates causing delays in service. We are now 7 days away from Financing note and Penske needs to pay this note they want us to wait til after service and use the term reimburse but how do you expect us to have funds for a truck we havent even been able to work with. Roughly 8k needs to be given asap for expenses of this truck (insurance and note)

      I am rejecting this response because: the company advised both pre and post sale assistance would be given. Asked for info on all expenses since we not only paid insurance for pick up & then it sat another month but also sat a month in the shop after pick up. Pre sale dept pretty much stop responding completely leaving us with only contact with post sale & one pre sale employee who asked for all documents for pre and post sale transactions made & did not honor it & had our post sale rep state she could only help with post sale but yet she and a pre-sell agent confirmed they were working together to find a solution we pushed out a total of 3 months of insurance & the truck wasn’t actually home until august. Sale happened back in May & we have amble time for everything to be completed & yet we were lied to about how long the sell would take and also about the truck being work ready 
      Total spent was roughly $7k & they decided to offer roughly about $3k

      What must I do to have someone from Penske Corporate to begin looking into my EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE? I have called, emailed many times but no one is helping me resolve this issue. 1. Sales has told me via voicemail that fumigation and cleaning would be completed by Thursday of this week, so no one could access the unit. However, the ***** Truck Repair Tech says otherwise. The unit has a roach infestation. 2. To my understanding, this unit is considered proven, which should pass a DOT inspection, however, the ***** Truck Repair Tech states that it failed immediately today. I have been going back and forth with you, Mehgan, C*** and the Nor-cross Penske location for what seems like two months without any success of the unit being released to me in satisfactory “Proven Penske Conditions”. This most certainly warrants credit back to me, if Ichoose to go forward. Note: Due to the delays, prolonged communication, lack of adequate Sales Coordination support, my start up business has significantly more sunk cost and continues. Clearly, this is not a “PROVEN PENSKE UNIT”. Let’s immediately discuss credit.       I purchased a truck from Penske. After deposit was given, contract signed I was given different reasons my truck wasn’t ready. In the meantime they took the first payment out of my account. After a month went by they finally got my truck ready but yet had not gotten me the correct paperwork to register the truck, then another payment gets taken out of my account. After that I finally received the correct paperwork on 7-18-22. In the meantime I spent almost $4,000.00 on a rental to move not to mention my business was supposed to open on 7-1-22 in which I have delayed due to this problem. The original contract was signed in mid May. I have sent emails after emails with the majority getting no response. I received an email from Cinthia H******* saying she would elevate this with no response. I received a call from Philip P****** saying he would handle this and after several emails to him no response. I have reached out several times to several folks within the organization trying to handle this from within with no help. I have been lied to on the phone several times about truck availability, reimbursements for added costs, telling me this would be elevated and not one person has gotten back to me.

      - I called to reserve a 22 ft moving truck in 11/21, which was successfully reserved and confirmed to be picked up on 7/5/22.- On 7/4/22 I received a call from Penske stating that they didnt have my truck and that 22 ft trucks are very rare, to reiterate this is approximately 7 months after I reserved this rare species of truck, but I was accommodating and decided to take a look at the 26 ft option so that I could proceed with my move. - I arrived on 7/5/22 to pick up the 26 ft truck but was intimidated by the fact it was more of a semi than a box truck, I expressed my frustration in being put in this position despite my attempts to be way ahead of the ball in November, but they just offered me a 16 instead with a discount, I accepted as I only had 5 days to get to ******* and completely unpack and my fianc who is pregnant needed to do the drive in a 4, 6, 6 hour split to get over the nausea and safely make the drive.- I proceeded to pack the truck which took longer than expected due to the way I had to attempt to fit a smaller space, had to rent another truck to dump half of our belongings, and then got in the truck on 7/9/22 to start the drive, the trucks check engine, brake and traction control lights came on. - After a 6 hour debate with Penske roadside I was able to have a tow arranged to *******, we didnt arrive in ******* until 7/10/22 at midnight due to multiple 3+ hour delays by Penske and its lack of ability to coordinate with towing vendors, as well as a mandatory half way stay in *********** ** which cost $210 for **. -The mental anguish didnt stop there, the moving company Penske partnered with has been texting my personal line asking for money to buy food for themselves so they can eat. -Long story short, Penske completely fumbled our entire move, they put mental strain on my pregnant fianc, cost us money and time; and made us miss obligations due to their insufficiencies. I was promised a $1200 refund, its been 5 days, nothing.
