      THIS Account is DISPUTED! **************** continues to send this account to different agencies! **************** submitted incorrect billing for my account which has resulted to my insurance being used in Tennessese and other states I'M dealing with this legal issue as we speak because of their mess up!       Arcadia all of a sudden started sending me collection letters dated February 22, 2023 through March 14, 2023 and the letters were always the same two bills but duplicate copies sent every day for about 15 days in a row. I called their office three times and said that they had to cease and desist sending me these letters because they are coming every day and they are harassing me. They wouldnt stop sending them even though they were dated at least two weeks prior to when I received them. I already paid some of the bills from 2021 and I proved it to them several times yet they keep harassing me. In working with my insurance company, I found out that this company was overcharging me for the balance due them. They were trying to collect more money from me than was due them. I have to go back and check my records from 2021 and prove to them again what is paid and what, if anything, is still owed. Arcadia needs to stop harassing me until I can find my checks and verify what may be outstanding. Arcadia admitted to me that they saw a cease and desist but they still continued to mail letters to me and harass me on the phone when I asked them to stop the second and third time I spoke to them. I have received two phone calls from a collection agency and I suspect it may be them. Its a company called ******. I need your help in getting them to cease and desist and to stop harassing me. I need to review my bank statements from almost two years ago to prove what I paid. Thank you.

Based upon a review by our Compliance Department and Operations department, we determined that there was programming error which caused one of our letters to go our numerous times to this consumer. We have now corrected the error and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience it caused the consumer. We have also marked the account as disputed and as cease and desist, and we are no longer collecting on this consumer’s account.

      Arcadia Recovery Bureau has sent me a letter that states I owe **** ********* ****** $125. I do not owe this and do not know what is about. I am up to date on monies owed to **** ********* ******. The account number provided by Arcadia is not my account number with **** *********. I do not want this company to post negitive information on my credit report for a bogus charge.Thank you.

      This company contacted me regarding a medical item for $23.41 that was outstanding due to a misunderstanding with the medical offices' online payment system. The bill has been paid, however the collection activity is on my consumer credit report. This account has been paid with the original medical institution and the collection activity and any reporting on my credit report is invalid. This reporting has impacted my credit standing and worthiness and could affect my ability to apply for loans, mortgage, or other credit lines and has caused undue stress the bill has been paid. Please correct this on my credit report and cease all collection activities immediately.

Upon review by our Operations and Compliance Departments, we have confirmed with the client that this consumers account has been paid and there is a zero balance. However, we disagree with the consumers allegations regarding credit reporting. Arcadia used to credit report certain accounts but a company decision was made to stop all credit reporting, so if this consumers account was reported, it was deleted this past summer from all credit bureaus. The account has been closed in our systems.

      Seven times now I have been contacted by this business and they leave a VM. When I call back, I am on hold for 15-20 minutes at a time. Then some sassy person picks up and gives me the run around and plays dumb. This has been ongoing since July 12, 2022. At this point they can either cease and desist. Or I can have our attorney handle this matter it's their choice.

Arcadia has not spoken with this consumer since November 2021, and the consumer may be referring to communications he's had with the client. Nevertheless, we will mark our account as a cease and desist and all collection activity will stop, unless and until the consumer contacts us directly.

      This is not the first time that I am being harassed from Arcadia Recovery Bureau LLC about a debt I do not owe. We you call them, they request too much personal information before they can address the issue. I would like to never be contacted by them ever again. I believe this is a scam.

      Thank you for giving Arcadia Recovery Bureau, LLC the opportunity to respond to this consumer's complaint. Based upon a review by our Compliance Department, we have determined that the account has been handled properly, but in accordance with the consumer's wishes, we have marked this account as a Cease and Desist and all collection efforts have been and will remain stopped. 

      We do not agree with the consumer's allegation that she has been harassed. We received the most recent account on 8/1/22 and the legally required first notice was mailed to her home address. Several phone attempts were made in accordance with Regulation F and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, but we were not able to reach her. The consumer called in on 8/19/22 but refused to authenticate herself so the call could not continue .Authentication of the caller is a legal requirement to ensure that we do not have an unauthorized disclosure of private and personal information, but if the caller refuses to provide the necessary details, we are not able to continue with the call. The consumer can, if she chooses, call the creditor to confirm that her account has been placed with Arcadia.

      I am writing in response to correspondence I received from you bearing the date July 20, 2022 regarding an alleged account with an alleged reference number of *********. First, your information is incorrect and therefore, I as the consumer dispute this debt and demand that you, the debt collector, provide validation under this section of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. This is not my debt and the amount is wrong. I am requesting validation of this alleged debt. If you do not provide full validation of this alleged debt, I will have no choice but to file suit against Arcadia Recovery Bureau for violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Next, to be clear, this shall serve as your one and only written notice that you do not have my consent to communicate with me, the consumer, in connection with the collection of any debt at any time. Upon review by our Compliance Department, it appears that this complaint is actually a debt dispute and a request to cease all communication, but please note the contradiction in the consumer's request. First, there is a request for validation and then there is a request to cease all communications. As such, we will obtain validation of the debt and mail it to the consumer, and then mark the account as a Cease and Desist and all collection efforts will stop - written and verbal.
