    I had garbage service by the year .at the end of September I was cut off .I called and was told the one beside me didn't pay and was putting garbage on my cage.

    The entire month of May they have not picked up my trash, even though the bags are within their parameters, tied, no holes, tears. It has been 2 weeks with trash piling uo & the business not returning my calls. I have left messages with no response & pay each month in the amount of $25 for their services. Which most of the time is not completed. Normally they will leave bags or just not take them at all. It has been 2 weeks with already paying for their services that my trash is now piled up.

    All customers receive a payment book for the year that also includes all of our rules. The 5 main rules that must be followed for your garbage to be collected are as follows:

    -Garbage is to be out by 7:00 am

    -Up to 4 bags per week of regular household garbage

    -13gal-33gal bags only

    -bags must be tied, knotted shut

    -bags must be no further than 3ft from the curb

    Again, these rules are listed in the payment book and are also verbally expressed when service is set up.

    Our drivers keep what we call a “not out” list where they write down anything they don’t take from a stop. I looked through every week (the lists are turned in weekly) for the year of 2023 (the previous year’s lists get discarded a couple months into the new year). There was a total of 3 weeks this year that Ms ******’s garbage was left sit. On 5/4/23 the driver noted O/L, bag of carpet. That means he took the 4 bag limit but the customer was over their limit (O/L) and had carpet which is an extra pick up, not regular household garbage (there is information in the rules on how to set up for extra items, like carpet, to be taken). On 5/18/23 the driver indicated all the bags were bigger than 33gal bags, we only take 13gal-33gal bags. On 5/25/23 the driver again indicated that all bags were over 33gal. All other weeks her garbage was collected.

    We only show Ms ****** called our office one time this year, the week of May 22, 2023. Her call was returned and a message was left letting her know her bags were bigger than 33gal and that’s why they weren’t being taken and once she used bags that fell in our parameters, we could take them. She returned that message on 5/25/23, telling the secretary she got our message and wanted to cancel because “most of the time I follow the rules….”.

    We did have problems with Ms ******’s account before with bags not being tied. She insisted the bags were knotted and our driver was not doing his job. We had the driver start taking pictures at that location to confirm what he was writing on his list. He sent us multiple pictures of bags wide open. We reviewed the main rules with her then and hadn’t had any problems with the account, until now, after that was taken care of. And she continued service with us when she moved to Walnut Street (which she would have had to call and speak to someone to do).
