  I would give zero stars, if I could. Our parents used their service for years and always prepaid. We lost our father in 2022 and our mother January 2024. We were told we would be refunded the unused portion of their payment a few months after we sold the house a few months ago. We never received the refund. Today (10/3/2034) called to tell them we didn't get it and another person who answered the phone said they don't give refunds. I never spoke to this person and she wasn't the one I spoke with originally and who told me we would get refunded. What a horrible business, rude people, ones who outright lie! My parents were good, solid paying customers for many years and the rudeness my sister and I encountered when we lost our mother and had to order roll offs and other services was unforgivable. What a horrible business! Stay away!

  ************** 1/16/23 I would not recommend or encourage anyone to use Harbaugh Trucking for their garbage disposal needs. During the passing of both my mother-in-law and my father-in-law within 2 months of each other, we were going through paperwork and disposing of what was no longer needed and Harbaugh's went through my garbage (opened the bag and rummaged through my garbage to see what was in there) and cancelled my service because there were papers in my garbage that had my inlaws name and address on them. I called to ask them why my garbage was not being picked up and they said I was disposing of other people's garbage. I explained the situation to them but it didn't matter so I cancelled my services due to an infringement of privacy! Who roots through someones garbage? At a different time, and being that my mother at 96 years old and had very little garbage to dispose of, questioned if there were any alternatives or discounts offered since she had so little garbage to be picked up. She is on a fixed income and thought they would possibly work with her. She cancelled her services with Harbaugh's after waiting and no one returned her call. They did not pick up garbage nor did they render any services whatsoever but still charged her for a payment because they said she called in too late. Her garbage was scheduled to be picked up once a week and she did not put anything out for them to get, but still charged her! Their customer service, that is if you can even get a call back, is very unprofessional!

  This company canceled my garbage collection service after 7 months after I had paid for a whole year of service. They owe me 5 months reimbursement, but refuse to pay me what they owe me. The cancellation was because I complained about their drivers pulling into my driveway and repeatedly damaging it. Also, garbage was then left on the street in front of my house on the day of pick-up after I initially complained. The owner(s) never answer the phone, nor do they return your phone calls regarding problems you might have. Not a responsible or reliable company to deal with. I've had problems with this company ever since I first started service with them. I would not recommend this company for service.

  This business does not send invoices or give receipts. They also request that payment for some of their services be made out to the owner by name, and not the company. They tack on fees for whatever they choose. Service is ok, the office and customer service are a joke. For the few extra bucks a month we are taking our business elsewhere, where its less shady.
