    I purchased a new construction home with V2 Properties. This purchase includes a year-long builder's warranty which is active until Oct. 2023 and they now refuse to honor. The issue I've faced is that upon moving into the home, I continuously heard noises which eventually became clearer that there were critters in the wall. I reached out to V2's warranty division about this issue in Jan. 2023 and asked for a vendor. They provided one who disclosed he was not licensed to handle wildlife removals. In March, the issue escalated as an animal peed on the smoke alarm in between my 2-3 floors. I reached out to the property manager and the warranty division. I found a company, out of the 11 licensed companies in ************, to come do an inspection. ******* ******** found two openings on the wall between the second-third floor which led to the neighbor's roof - thus easily accessible to animals. I again reached out to the warranty division with the estimate, photos and details on March 23. From here on, I received no response. I followed up before proceeding with the process of setting up traps in case animals were inside the house at the moment and received no response from the warranty division. The proper manager did stop by while the traps were being installed (March 29), he spoke with the ** ************ and asked me to package the photos and send to the warranty division again. I sent as advised (April 4). I received no response after multiple emails until April 24 with the business claiming that this was not reimbursable since I had chosen my own vendor. The issue was obviously urgent and it needed immediate attention which they didn't provide despite my efforts. I followed the process detailed on the warranty - which explicitly covers construction defects on the walls - and assumed approval as the property manager was involved. I'm seeking arbitration to be refunded the $1,183.2 I spent with ******* for the handling of this issue created by V2's poor worksmanship.

    I purchased my first home from this builder January 24th, 2023. Before closing on my home I was not allowed inside without a representative from the builder there at any point other than during the first walkthrough with my realtor. We were lied to several times about a technology package the home was supposed to have (which we paid a premium for) initially we were told everything was set up and ready to go but then on closing day we were told we would need to buy an additional $50 part, after contacting ********* who V2 referred ** to that $50 part actually turned out to be $4000. We then had issues with the laundry room. The **** was meant to be behind a stacked washer and dryer, which means they cut a hole in the wall of a closet to my childrens bedroom so that we would be able to access the hvac by crawling through it. That wasnt a major issue more of an inconvenience, but the issues came when we had our appliances set up, they had installed the gas line and dryer outlet on the left side of the room, and the water lines on the right side of the room, so the cords were crisscrossed all over. We then had a small spill in the room, but the floor wasnt pitched to the drain hole so the water went straight into the walls and started dripping through light fixtures on the floor below. They had also only installed 1 outlet in the room so we had to run an extension cord through the previously mentioned hole in the closet and into my childs room. Which obviously presented as an issue for **. We then noticed nails sticking up through the floor which began cutting us. There are more issues with this home than I have characters remaining but essentially the builder refused to fix the laundry room so we hired someone to do it for **, they then offered to build ** a new closet for the kids room and have since decided not to fulfill that promise. They have lied on several occasions and refuse to admit any fault at all or correct their actions.
