    I have been a client since March 2023. I brought my own caregiver to be hired as he was denied being hired by my former company. I now know why. My ex fiance who I brought to provide services to me under the home and community based waiver program has been convicted of a drug charge (acquiring a controlled substance by fraud) and is not hirable as a home health aide under the controlled substance act

    As a consumer I have a right to choose who I want as a caregiver so I had no issue hiring my ex fiance

    What I have an issue with is that valley home care has continued to give him clients from what I understand

    I don't believe that they do adequate background checks we walked in Thursday and he was hired transfered my agency Friday and he started Monday

    After he quit they sent me Jessica who stole $200 a jar of change and a bottle of medication she told me she did state time for drugs I made police report company swept it under the rug

    Confused as to why Valley Home Care also goes by Morning Star Home Care?
    I saw this after being “hired.”
    Went through hiring process which was very quick and w/o a formal interview. They had me download an app to view my schedule and to be able to clock in and out etc. The client assigned was a real person-I googled him. They hired me for fulltime/40 hrs a week. When I returned from a 3-day vacation, I checked my app and he was no longer listed there. (My first day was supposed to be the following day after returning home). I immediately reached out to “Jocelyne G*****,” the recruiter, and “Leah” in HR. They texted that they’d look into it and I never heard back from them.
    An employee Schmuel G******** also emailed a rate of pay form for me to sign.
    I’m very concerned as they have my personal information, I-9, banking info, etc.
