I bought a car from Toyota of Scranton march 28th 2024 car is nice drives good but heat dosent work they lied and said mechanics checked everything and there’s no issues they did a scan to see what can be the issue they said “ac amplifier “ part cost me 600 and some change not even including Labor i’ve been chipping money in this car since summer trying to get the heat to work before my fiancé get birth To know today is December 23 2024 And it still doesn’t work she’s currently 9 months pregnant and I also have a four year-old that just turned four December 18. It is extremely cold in the Car all my windows stay frozen when the car is warmed up I have to call off work to take them to appointments because it’s not safe to drive with windows frozen so I have to drive and the defrost is on They are saying there’s nothing they can do. I called the bank that I’m financing through same loop. Nothing they can do. I think it’s unfair that I still owe 15 grand and I have a car with no heat with kids in the winter. When we’re at -0 I guess I’m not the only one Ithat got scammed Toyota of Scranton is a con artist and there “mechanics “ don’t know not 1 thing how to operate cars !!!!!Toyota of Scranton

1 starFRAUD. Paid $42,000 (with tax and additional warranty) for a "Certified" Toyota Camry, come to find out the car was WRECKED and they covered it up to sell it certified. A different Toyota dealership confirmed, the car's rear and 20% of passenger side is complete BONDO. Suspension and frame are bent and were RIGGED to make car so it would drive. An unexpected rear passenger tire blowout is what alerted us to issue. We gave Toyota Scranton an opportunity to make this right, allowed them to review the car on their lift (they confirmed damage), waited weeks while they had their "management meetings" about how they were going to make up for it, and they finally forwarded us to a sales person, offering to sell us a new car, giving us LESS THAN BOOK VALUE as a trade in price for their fraudmobile. Hysterical. We have filed complaints with ************************ of ******** Protection, the ****************** our local U.S. Congressperson, State Senator, and BBB. Additionally, we are filing an independent lawsuit against the dealership. There's so much more I could add here, but too much to list.PROCEED WITH CAUTION. We love Toyota, this was our 9th Toyota, 2nd one from THIS dealership. Toyota's are the best. Do yourself a favor, and find another dealer. Otherwise, proceed at your own risk.Review fromGerard S

Outstanding dealership! The staff is very professional and treats their customers better than any dealership I have ever encountered. Every individual I have dealt with strives to exceed all expectations. The culture there is positive and everyone truly seems to get along and work well with each. Toyota Scion of Scranton is selling Toyota RAV4 vehicles with faulty liftgate hinges that will not only cause damage to your vehicle, add risk in using the liftgate, and devalue your vehicle as a result of the faulty parts. They are fully aware of the issue but will not recall or repair, even with an extended warranty which I am finding out is a joke. Buyer beware! DO NOT buy a Toyota.Toyota of Scranton

This is my second time buying a car from Toyota of Scranton. I bought my first one September 2021. A certified preowned caravan. This car runs great! all I do is put gas and get oil changes. Corey was my salesman and Ryan was my finance guy. Both very nice guys!
Last Month I bought my mother a certified pre owned Chevy and the car runs great! Ahmed was my salesman and he was great! Unfortunately because of my revolving credit utilization and not having a long history at my new job the banks were giving me problems but Rich Larussa made a few calls and found a bank for me! I was so happy that I was able to walk out with my mom’s car!
And I even went back And sold my jeep to them a month later. I was scared they would redact their original offer and try to lowball me but Marco Valenti and Ahmed Wasal was true to their word! They bought my car!
Toyota of Scranton is the best! You get complementary food, snacks and the staff treats you like family! I would never buy a car anywhere else as long as they’re in business!Toyota of Scranton

1 starI was called by the sales man and told to bring my car in to trade it for a rav4 2019 the sales man and finance account manager said if I paid 996 on this car for a year and build my credit after the year he would trade me out and put me in a better 2022 vehicle with lower payments the year has been up and now I’m told they do not do trade ins in-house I’d have to go somewhere else and they also do not refinance in house I’d have to go somewhere else now I’m stuck with with this over priced Rav 4 and an Apr of 18% that will never be lowered by any bank I’ve been scammed for a car salesman to get commission and now being harassed for the monthly payments never do business with Toyota financial or Toyota of Scranton the finance manager Matt is friends with Byron the owner of the company NEPAPros and they swindle young women into getting cars and signing contracts while working for Nepa pros then Nepa pros fires the employees and Toyota won’t refinance lower payments trade out for lower payments nothing just want more money down or a cosigner to destroy their credit next after destroying yours my experience has been horrible and I’m still being harassed and financially raped because auto salesman don’t put their promises in writing they just sell you a dream and an overpriced car and move on to the next victimReview fromVirginia M

1 starThey charged me 10,000.00 over the MSRP price for my truck, and also with putting down 15,000.00 on the truck I owe over value for my truck now I’m actually now in the red and it has no trade in value
