  Just hang up if they call! A salesman called and asked if we would be interested in SAMPLES. We kept receiving orders of gloves that we did not order, with a $621.60 bill each time. When a lady called us back again, she turned it around like we ordered the gloves. Scam.

  The salesman would have never asked if you would be interested in samples! If you kept receiving orders of gloves, then you must have ordered them! And the bills would never be the exact same price each time, as the shipping charges would vary depending on what was shipped!Northstar is a reputable company with many, many satisfied customers. Our sales reps only wish to establish accounts with companies. We strive to accommodate our customers with their product needs, and look forward to them becoming long term satisfied customers!

  NEGATIVE rating. I called Northstar to dispute the invoice as my staff member was asked what sizes and type of gloves we use that Northstar could send us some, giving the impression that they were samples and did not discuss cost. there was NO packing slip nor an invoice when the product was received. Invoice was received a month later. I have reported this company to my corporate office. we could not return the product because we shared the samples with other locations to try - they have been warned of this rues as well. Northstar was less then helpful in resolving claiming "the sales rep notes state thanked you for your order". ********.

  On June 17th, you had called and said that you were under the impression that the gloves were sent as samples to try, since there wasn't an invoice in the box. Normally our customers prefer us to email the invoices to them, since we don't have any control over the timeliness of the US *************** It was discussed that the gloves had been ordered, and that the sales rep's notes stated that he had thanked the gentleman for the order. All Northstar reps thank our customers for their orders, not only because we appreciate their business, but to also confirm that it is, in fact, an order! You said that you had recently received the invoice, but that you wanted to return the gloves. In an effort to resolve the matter, we were going to send you a *** Return Label for you to return our products back to us free of charge. You later called back and said that you couldn't return the products because they had been used, or had been sent out to other locations. Just because you were under the impression that they were samples, and just because **** didn't deliver the invoice to you in a timely manner, there was no need for you to blow things out of proportion, and report us to your corporate office, and unnecessarily post this negative review on the BBB!

  Complete scam. A salesman called me and asked if I would be interested in a sample box of gloves for us to try in order to earn our business. Never mentioned price. We got the gloves along with a $200 bill (which is ridiculous... you can get better quality gloves at Home Depot or Lowes for half the cost). When I called and asked about it, the lady was incredibly rude, insisting that the salesman never mentioned that they were a "sample." From reading other reviews online, it sounds like they use sleezy sales tactics to trick people into ordering their overpriced gloves.

  Northstar is NOT a scam. We've been in business for 28 years, and have many satisfied customers.  The lady that you spoke to, was correct in stating that the salesman never mentioned that he was sending you samples, as Northstar does not send Cases of merchandise as samples. If you'd decided that you were not interested in keeping our products, you could have simply let us know, and we would have sent you a return label for you to return our products back to us free of charge. It was unnecessary for you to file a slanderous review on the BBB.

  Total scam. The salesman, a very nice older gentleman. called and wanted to send me a complimentary box of gloves along with a catalog as a promotional gift. Which I said yes. I was sent a whole case of gloves and a couple of weeks later received an invoice for $381.00 for the gloves. I have called 2 times now and nobody has called back and I'm sure wont. Stay away don't fall for these peoples scam. I will gladly send back their products if they offer a label, but no call back yet.

  If I could give negative stars I would. Northstar sales rep originally reached out to me in 2017 offering to send free samples of gloves and can liners. He also said he had stopped by to introduce himself and left a walmart gift card for me, but said I wasnt available when he was here. Gift card was never dropped off, and to everyones recollection they had never met nor seen -- when he claims he stopped by. Anyways, -- sent me my "free" samples and then proceeded to bill me for hundreds of dollars over the product value. When we tried to return the products it was a nightmare trying to get a return label through Northstar. I did eventually get the label and returned the products. Northstar is so clueless as a company, that -- has continued to call me every year saying he left me a gift card and offering to send free samples. On 8-23-23, -- made his annual call to me. Every year I have asked -- to remove me from his call list and never call again. Again on 8-23-23 I asked to be removed and never contacted, and do not send anything to my place of business. I also called the number listed on BBB and spoke to the office staff asking to never be contacted because they are a fraud and scam. Shortly after making this call, a man called me back cussing me out and screaming at me telling me to never call their office again. He called me an f-ing r-tard and made many other insults and harassing comments before hanging up on me. I again called the number on BBB and informed them to never call me again and I would be filing a complaint. STAY AWAY from Northstar Products. They are a scam and fraud trying to rob companies on janitorial supplies.

  Placed an order for two shirts. One month later they have not arrived, nor have I received any shipping information. I have called three times in one week only got voice mail, e-mail to customer services has yet to returned.
