  Anthony & Sylvan Pools – Poor Workmanship, Warranty Denial, and Disregard for Accountability
  
  Four years after installation, our pool began falling apart: hundreds of tiles came loose, the wall behind them deteriorated, and leaks damaged the surrounding deck. Multiple engineers confirmed the cause was poor materials and delamination — not customer misuse.
  
  Anthony & Sylvan denied our warranty claim and refused to take responsibility. It took hiring an attorney and posting a public review just to get their attention. Their eventual response included a partial repair offer, but only if we signed a non-disclosure agreement and removed all negative reviews.
  
  This was a high-end job that should’ve been backed by quality and service. Instead, they dragged things out for months, focused on legal positioning rather than fixing the issue. Their priority was clearly protecting their image, not standing behind their work.
  
  In our experience, Anthony & Sylvan deflects blame, avoids accountability, and relies on legal pressure to silence dissatisfied customers. I would strongly caution anyone considering using this company.

  We had a gunite pool originally installed in 2017. We had to have it replastered in 2018 which was disappointing. Now in 2025, we have had to redo the coping and pool tile due to the poor installation and water seepage behind the coping. AND we just learned while this work was being done that the bond under the plaster didn't hold, the floor of the pool is cracking and the walls are hollow. So we are going to have to have the pool completely replastered. All after only 7 years due to the terrible work done by ************************************************ Absolutely, unacceptable! Strongly recommend avoiding this company at all costs!

  Our pool turned out exactly how we pictured it. *********************************************** provided great customer service, and our project manager, ******, was a pleasure to work with. He was very attentive throughout the process and made sure everything was done how we wanted.

  The Review:
  I had Anthony & Sylvan pools do a renovation for our pool to replace cracked tiles. They said the coping also need to be replaced or the tiles would crack again. So long story short, we went with it. It cost a total of $12,150, plus an additional $2,000 for related work (pool refill and auto cover handling). Three years later the new tiles started cracking. They sent out their contractor who said that also coping again had to be replaced again. Since then, we’ve had additional experts evaluate the situation, even an expert who came from A &S, and learned there may likely be a structural issue — either related to improper expansion spacing or even a problem with the pool shell itself. This should have been checked before the insisted it just need new coping plus new tiles. Right now we want our $14,150 for the initial renovation. A&S declined and wasted over a year putting us through this. We’re following up with small claims court.
  
  
  Comment from the Business: A&S is in receipt of customer's feedback and our Northeast General Manager, Jason, has been in contact with Mr. Nolan recently to discuss his concerns.   To anyone considering working with *********************************************** or currently under contract: RUN. Cancel, pay the penalty if you mustitll save you endless frustration and wasted time. I wish I had.Absolutely terrible experience. After the pool plaster was completed, our heater was diagnosed with issuesand its been over a month with no resolution. Ive repeatedly contacted the team, and not only has there been zero follow-up, but I was also yelled at by the project manager over the phonewhich I plan to escalate to *********************************************** ***** make matters worse, the issue was passed off to a third-party repair company who is completely unresponsive. Ive been left with a non-functional heater, no communication, and no accountability.

  We recently completed a full pool and deck renovation with Anthony & Sylvan Pools, and although the project took nearly a year from start to finish, were incredibly pleased with the end result, and with how the company handled the entire process, especially when issues arose.Undertaking a renovation of this scale,with an investment close to $100,000 can be overwhelming. But from the start, our sales and design consultant, ****, made us feel at ease. **** was a true gentleman who clearly cared about our project. He listened, offered great ideas, and helped us bring our vision to life with both professionalism and a personal touch.Our scope included all new pool equipment, a full equipment relocation, and resurfacing of the pool and spa. Along the way, we ran into a significant issue caused by previously poor plumbing work. To fix it properly, the A&S team had to jackhammer into the old pool and spa plaster. While it wasnt the newly installed plaster, it was still a major disruption, especially as this occurred late in the fall season.Because of the necessary repairs, we also had to bring our spa up to current code. A&S didnt cut corners, they sent a master plumber named *** from over 200 miles away in **************************. *** was absolutely exceptional. He worked nonstop for over 15 hours with incredible precision and care to ensure everything was corrected and up to ******* their credit, *********************************************** stood behind their work every step of the way. They honored their commitment, re-plastered the entire pool, and delivered a stunning final product that were proud ***** large-scale project is without its bumps. But what stood out to us was the companys willingness to take responsibility and make things right. The management team was responsive, honest, and committed to customer satisfaction. In the end, were very happy we chose *********************************************** and would recommend them to anyone taking on a major renovation like this

  I had Anthony & Sylvan build my beautiful new pool in 2019 we are now in 2025 and my copping around pool looks like crap. It’s all chipped and cracked, and the reason to that is because Anthony & Sylvan uses all cheap crap to make pools. I spent $90k to build my new beautiful pool so me and my family can enjoy but with in few years it looks like crap. I call Anthony & Sylvan customer service to make a complaint and they told me that they won’t help me because my warranty is no longer in effect. I never expected that my copping will crack and fell apart with in few years. Now I have to replace my whole pool copping and it will cost me around $12,000. I am very pissed off and upset. I wish I knew earlier that this would happen. People please be on look out if you are going to use Anthony & Sylvan for your pool. They are good sales people but they don’t stand for their product.
