      The contract provided was misleading. We have a year contract where an initial fee was provided & quarterly service paid at the time of service. The Company is trying to state that instead of paying $45 quarterly which we had been charged , that they did not collect enough money& that the contract states we should have been paying $45 monthly for quarterly service. The contract makes it sound like if you have monthly service $45 is charged but our service is quarterly & all we were asked to pay previously was $45. They are now trying to collect a total of $190 for past services which they are going take from our credit card provided for payment. The service they provided also did not live up to the terms of the contract. Several complaints had been made to the company in the past regarding their employees & the lack of service provided & unwillingness of the employees to to complete the job as stated by the contract.

      ********************* called in asking for an appointment and that she was interested in a quarterly pest control plan.  The last time we were out to service her home was in 2020, so some time has passed since we were out.  Since COVID a lot has changed and we have included more services in our pest control service plans.  I have attached the signed contract from ********************* and it clearly states under payment that the charge is ***** + tax a monthly (or $135.00 + tax due at the time of her quarterly service).  We serviced her property on April 3, 2023 later in the day as her scheduled estimate.  We them were schedule on July 3rd but customer requested it be rescheduled to July 19th for her next service.  ************ was provided.  No problems from customer thus far.  ******** called in stating that she would like her interior sprayed and that she would have to get back to us due to her having scheduled surgery. Her next scheduled quarterly service was 10/18/2023 and the service was provided.  Not at any time did we receive a call from the customer that she was unhappy with service.  When customers call in everything is documented in their file.  Customer is trying to get service without having to pay.  We honored our contract and did services accordingly.

      We had a pest problem at our house which Newtown Termite and Pest Control dealt with satisfactorily. We had discussed the job beforehand and agreed to a fee - $375. That same day they sent me a document to sign withe the 'Cost of Service' listed on the document as $375 (document attached below). They came, completed the work and I gave the contractor a cheque for $375. So far all is well. A week later I get a further bill for an extra $22.50 which they now claim is for taxes. It was my understanding that taxes were included in the original 'Cost of Service' statement from them. I feel that are breaking the original agreement with me. I complained but to no avail. I eventually paid the extra amount because I feared they would damage my credit.

      Even though this person was made aware of the tax we are sending the customer back his 22.50 hopefully he will never call us again. We solved his problem as always.  He is a really nasty person.
