My family has been using Midas for years and so when I was blessed with a vehicle I continued to use Midas. Unfortunately, this was one of the worse decision Ive ever made. There were about three incidents where Midas have done so fishy work. I remember bringing my car to Midas for inspection when I was told my car wouldnt pass for something that they have pass the car for previously. I asked to speak with manager and even the manager tried to tell me the worse possibly scenarios that could happen. Of course, I didnt get whatever they were suggesting done because even though Im a woman I got some ********** forward to changing my tires and for some reason a s**** from my back bumper went missing. I discovered this on my way home when my car felt like it was dragging on the floor. I returned and ask them to fix it. Of course, Midas told me no issues with the car. I requested that they drive it and listen carefully as I sat in the front seat. They claim to not hear anything but I wouldnt leave until it was fixed. Why did they had to add a s**** if nothing was not wrong?May 2023, another rip off by Midas. I was told my front and rear shocks are leaking. I had the front shocks done but they were insisting that I had the rear shocks completed because its leaking bad. May 2025, I finally decided to have the rear shocks done. I went three times and couldnt get this done. As a woman of faith, I shouldve taken this as a sign but anyways on the third attempt, they ordered two different shocks and supposedly wasnt for my car and had to pick it up. When I went to pick up the car, ABS and traction lights were on. Unable to move my car and when I did I almost crashed into someones house. To get to the point, I brought my car to someone else just to be told nothing is wrong with my rear shocks, nothing is wrong with my ABS but a fuse is missing. How does a fuse go missing when my ABS light has never come on since I had this vehicle for 4 years!

Midas on Lehigh ***************. During oil change, lied to me that my pads and rotors were at 1.5mm. When they were actually at 5s as I saw with my own eyes when I took my car somewhere else a different. Wanted $600 more to replace pads and rotors. Best decision to not let them work on my car. I went there to use free oil change coupon after buying an oil change. Even this wasnt free as they charged me for the filter, which was not specified on the coupon. Unfortunately this establishments procedures take advantage of the patrons. Corporate Midas should replace staff in order to maintain any remaining trust in ************.

I went to Midas to have my brakes checked yesterday. I was told I needed new front brakes and rotors. I was given the price of $1006.87. I indicated the price seemed high to me and asked the manager if this was a reasonable price for this service, to which he replied yes.
When I got home, after the replacements, I looked at my receipt and noticed a "shop fee" of $72.77. I've never had a shop fee charged to me for past repairs. Feeling suspicious, I started calling local auto shops to get quotes for the same job. After calling 5 different shops within 2 miles of Midas, I was stunned to learn that I was overcharged by nearly $500!
Today, I went to Midas and spoke to the manager, Bill Pierdomeni, who said he doesn't set the prices and refused to admit to significantly overcharging me. I asked that he refund the gross overcharge, which I believe was a form of discrimination and stereotyping; I'm a single woman with no knowledge of auto mechanics. I believe he took advantage of me.
I informed him I'll be contacting Midas Headquarters as well as BBB and the PA Attorney General's office to file a complaint.
