I am financing a suv thur americas choice.i took the car to them to have work done twice and both times they had my car for longer then they said and both times they did not fix the issues that the car was there for and now my car wobbles while driving and I am burning thru tires every 2 month.i just picked my car up from them today was supposed to have a muffler put on and they did not put it on my muffler is zip tied up pipes are not even connected.Business Response

Customer purchased their 2011 *************** with us on 04/20/2022. The customer started having issue on or around 10/08/2024 with putting fuel into the vehicle as the fuel neck was stuck shut. We advised our customer that the shop who handles our service needed to order the part at which time the customer requested the vehicle back and would send it back when the part arrived. An agreed upon appointment between the shop and the customer was 12/19/2024 for the fuel neck, however once the vehicle arrived the mechanic discovered the wrong part had been sent. The mechanic offered, to get her by, to put a used part on that was functioning. While there the customer inquired to have the muffler looked at. The customer was unable to go without the vehicle while we waited for the parts to arrive and the vehicle was sent back on 12/30/2024. The customer has a standing appointment with our shop on 01/22/2025 to have the repairs done.

Took my vehicle to their shop they put a part on that was not the issue did not fix the problem and they changed me for the part and when I questioned it they told me that all parts they put on the vehicle they charge for do not feel I should be charged for this part when they said it was the problem and did not fix the carBusiness Response

************** purchased his 2008 Dodge Nitro on 06/17/2022. His vehicle needed to be towed to our garage on 6/29/2024, as the customer advised they were having trouble starting their vehicle. Upon diagnosis the technician noticed that the battery terminal was not distributing charge correctly resulting in the technician replacing the positive battery terminal, this resolved the issue. The customer then contacted us on 7/9/2024 stating that they were again experiencing similar issues starting their vehicle. Our technician tested the battery and noticed that it was refurbished and recommend replacing this as well. Both the battery and the terminal are crucial for the vehicle to start properly. If the terminal was not replaced, the customer would still be having issues with starting the car. Since the customer received their vehicle back, there has been no issues brought to our attention regarding the starting.Initial Complaint

We purchased a vehicle a jeep we have had the car back in their shop 4 times and all they are doing is resetting codes they are not fixing anything just got it back going in the shop for the 5 time the manger won't do anything about it she is too busy thinking the situation is funny he has lost his job because of it had codes run 5 times and always the same nothing fixedBusiness Response

I purchased a vehicle on February 27, 2024 from Americas Choice. My mechanic wasnt available to look at it but I was told that was fine and that they would work with me afterwards if I just signed the waiver. My mechanic looked at the car today - March 4, 2024 and told me that it was an unsafe vehicle and was dangerous for them to put up on the lift as they were afraid to put it on the lift. The major issue is the rear trailing axle- it is rotted. They could see work was done but it was patch work. How this vehicle passed inspection in December is beyond me and I will be investigating them next. This is my first vehicle purchase and I feel deceived and lied to. At this time I want to return the vehicle and get my money back. They said if my mechanic wrote a letter, they would send the car out to their mechanic and see if they found the same issues they would repair it. I dont trust this company anymore as per the pictures, this was a pre-existing issue. This car never should have been sold.Business Response

******************************* purchased her 2011 **** Focus on 02/27/2024 at the time of her sale, as well as all sales we offer for our customers to take the vehicle to a mechanic of their choice. ******************* did just that, however, her mechanic was not available. We advised her that we can hold the vehicle, with a fully refundable deposit, until she was able to take the vehicle to her mechanic. At which time she refused and wanted to move forward with her purchase. She came back to us a few days later and stated her mechanic said the rear trailing axle was bad, we requested pictures and a bill from her garage to present to ************ and we would be happy to schedule an appointment for her and resolve the issue for her at no cost to her since she did just purchase her vehicle. She has been uncooperative in making an appointment. We would like to resolve the issue for ******************* if she would like to make the appointment. We have already sent pictures to ************, and they are ready to service her vehicle.

I bought a 2012 dodge grand caravan from Americas choice Cars and credit in December 2022. Before purchase they claimed they had to replace the thermostat before I could sign the agreement. Since I bought the vehicle it has had multiple electrical and mechanical issues. I have had the van to them multiple times for repairs and each time it has come back worse then before. Weve had to replace the thermostat that was still original and all the tubing and everything for the radiator because of it. We have had to replace all the brakes and calipers after them claiming they fixed it. Also I do not have the ********** and the driver side window has not worked correctly since purchase. The check engine light keeps eliminating as well which they claimed to fix that issue and it apparently has not been fixed. For inspection last September they replaced an engine mount for what reason they couldnt say but I had no symptoms of an engine mount issue and I had just had it checked by another mechanic right before that for any loose nuts and bolts or mounts. I currently have no heat in my vehicle since they took it for a simple repair and I got it back with no proper brakes. This last time they got it because it wont start and they took it for over 2 weeks and they refuse to tell me what garage is servicing my vehicle and they mixed my vehicle and another vehicle and told me information about the other vehicle but apparently my vehicle has not given them any trouble at all the past two weeks.Business Response

******************* purchased a 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan (*****************) on 12/20/2022 since her purchase the vehicle has been to the shop four times. As a used vehicle we do not always have the original key, however, we do have a key that makes the vehicle operable. The 1st time the vehicle went to the shop was on 06/19/2023 at that time the shop had to remove and replace 2 coolant Ts, add anti-freeze & a clamp. The second appointment was on 06/28/2023 where the shop had to remove and replace the speed sensor. On 10/02/2023 the vehicle was sent up to the shop for a state inspection, at that time the shop removed and replaced the front brakes and rotors, the front lower motor mount. 2 tires were also replaced. On 02/12/2024 an appointment was scheduled for a no start issue,the driver side window is in operable at times, a check engine light,windshield wiper is occasionally inoperable. The vehicle would not start, we offered to tow the vehicle as well inquire if the customer had towing on their insurance, at which time the customer refused to have the vehicle towed.Eventually the staff was able to get the vehicle started and up to the shop,once there the shop was not able to duplicate any of the issue and kept for a couple days to see if the issue would reproduce. We advised *************** that the shop cannot fix an issue that they are not able to duplicate. We would like to get this issue resolved for her by sending her vehicle to the shop until we are able to duplicate the issues.

Bought a vehicle from them that had a rusted frame. When I went to go get my state inspection done they told me that it fails for the rusted frame. they never transferred the registration into my name Once I bought the vehicle. I gave the vehicle to them to fix the frame problem and they added a whole exhaust system to the list of things without my knowledge. They are expecting me to pay for the repairs that were not approved by me because they say when I dropped my vehicle off, I automatically approved all repairs to be made to the vehicle. The amount I paid for the truck is 14 995, and the additional amount of money due to the repairs will come out to ************************************************************************************************************************************************** prior because I have already consented to the repairs by dropping it off to them. The repairs that were made to my vehicle are of poor quality. And the shop that they took it to to get the repairs done says that the shop is closed permanently.Business Response

Our vehicle went to their garage for inspection they put new tires on the front they lost one of the center emblems for one of the wheels it was on the car when it went up there came back with it missing this has been 2 months now and I keep asking and they keep saying the garage does not have it I would like it replacedBusiness Response

I checked with the repair shop. They do not have what is missing. Its an emblem from a wheel, if it came off it would be in that tire machine area and they do not have it. The repair shop owner has reached out to his sources to find a used one and he will. It is a used vehicle and we will pay to have another purchased and delivered to our Bloomsburg store and replaced as customer good will. This part does not affect the drivability of the vehicle and we will replace it, hopefully soon to satisfy our customer.Customer Answer

I purchased a 2012 **** ****** from americas choice about a month and one.week ago and have had nothing but problems with the car. They have said they fixed it and have to keep sending it back. They now do not answer phone calls or call me back. This car has a warranty and they continue to say the proce on how it costed them but not thinking I paid out right for this car and lost my job due to this situation and canceled mine and my children doctors appointments not having a car. Yes I am very aware of this situation. This vehicle was sold in January indeed with a 24 month 24000 mile warranty, even though its 11
years old and and has over 130,000 miles on it, we reconditioned and replaced anything we found compromised and it was state inspected in
December of 2022. Our warranty covers All internally lubricated parts in the engine and all internally lubricated parts in the transmission.
Along with those major components we cover the alternator, fuel pump, and water pump. Unfortunately soon after taking delivery the muffler
came off. Although this was not covered by warranty we fixed as customer good will. again unfortunately, within 2000 miles we found
that the head gasket had failed. It requires intensive labor and parts cost as the engine head has to be removed and sent to a machine shop
to be plained, valve stems checked and replacing any valves that may have been damaged and new valve seals. As bad luck continued the
machine shop ran out of the particular valve seal for this device and there was a long wait. we finally got the head back after weeks and
installed it immediately on the vehicle just 4 days ago. upon test driving we found the vehicle not idling properly. Again a part was
ordered but available in just a day. Along with that part and re-setting the timing we finally got the car back yesterday Tuesday
the 4th. I drove the vehicle last night and it will be returned to the customer today. Although the $2,300.00repair of the head gasket is not
covered by our warranty (it is not an internally lubricated moving part) we again will pay for the repair as customer good will as the
occurrence was soon after they took delivery. Yes there was a lengthy delay of parts but no lack of attention on our part to try to solve
the problem.
Unfortunately we, as well as many car dealers, have been plagued with supply chain delays. Some as long as 6 to 9 months with some models.
It is slightly improving but unfortunately not soon enough for us or our customers. If I can be of any other assistance with this matter or

I bought this car with tons of issues. For one the back up and wiper arm was not on the vehicle went was purchased. Which they said they would fix if brought it back at a later date jan 31 to feb 4 and oct 18 to 22. Thank you for the opportunity to answer this complaint! ***** ******** did purchase the vehicle on 4/12/2022 with 115601 miles. *** ******** called July 12 to schedule an appointment for his check engine light being on, back up camera not working and back wiper not working. The car was sent to the shop on July 26.
*** ******** stated he had purchased a wiper for the vehicle and said it was located in the vehicle. The technician said the only one located in the vehicle was broken. The technician advised they could order one to complete the repair. The customer became irate and demanded his car back before anything else could be checked out and stated he would fix it himself.
On October 25, the customer dropped the car off again for service for the same issues. The technician, at this time was able to examine the vehicle and again advised they would order the windshield wiper, back up camera harness and fuel
inlet (related to the check engine lite being on). Again, the customer requested the car back and to reschedule when parts were in.
We scheduled the customer for service on January 16, when parts were there, but the customer did not show up. We re- scheduled the customer again February 22 for the same issues but also to have muffler looked at, again the customer did not show up. We then rescheduled for February 27 but again he did not arrive for the appointment.
We have tried to reschedule but he has not returned our calls or any other form of correspondence.

I tried many ways to attach the text between the store manager and ********, but could not do it... We did receive her title and mailed it to her, however when comparing the address we had on file and the address where she is now they were two different places....unfortunately...the title was not returned to us....it should have been even if the forwarding had expired. The condensed conversation with my Store manager and ********....paraphrasing went as what happened....we re-ordered title and will notify her when it comes to the dealership and we will call her so she can pick up or we can deliver it if necessary... if you need any more information about this issue or any other please feel free to contact me.
