I purchased a rug from this company, that has apparently now changed its business name to ******************, and paid the invoice on 9/20/23. I was made aware there would be a shipping delay on 10/25/23. I reached out on 12/10/23 and 1/11/24 regarding the status of my order with no response and requested a refund on 1/11/24 with no response. The business seemed to disappear and life got busy, so I forgot to continue pursuing the issue. Now that the business is running again its popped back on my radar.Initial Complaint

6 Area Rugs contained in 5 separate orders to Lule+Co and only 1 area rug received. Many attempts to contact Lule+Co through the Face Book messenger site. Sometimes she replied. She took the money that was paid to her for the rugs and only delivered 1 of 6 rugs. She initially put me off by telling me that the ship time was longer than anticipated. Then she said I may or may not get them due to a vendor issue she was having. Then she admitted that I would not receive them, and she would process a refund. No money has come, both credit cards that were used have been contacted but I am getting some push back because it has been more than the 60 day window that they allow. She was still avoiding me at the 60 day ***** I did not know that I was not receviing them at that time. This company is either ripping people off or completely ignorant on running a business. Either way, they took my money and did not provide the product ordered. They need to refund my funds.Initial Complaint

I ordered a rug on 9/28 as a gift to a family member, ************************************** owner of lule + ** in ********** **, acknowledged it when I inquired on 10/14 for a status update on the shipping. I was informed on 10/16 id get a tracking when my rug shipped and that it **uld take up to 4 weeks to ship. I **ntinued to wait until 11/23, at which I asked for a status update which was ignored till 11/30. On 11/30 I was informed Id get a refund issued to me because it looked like the rug just never arrived or was damaged. Ive followed up 3 more times since then and have yet to receive my refund, today is 1/20/24Initial Complaint

Did business with this company at the brick and mortar store. Received a gift card for $200 went back to the store to use the gift card only to find that the brick and mortar store had been closed. Contacted the owner who stated that she would still honor the gift card on her online store.Placed an order for some merchandise on the online storefront, never received the merchandise and had the owner ghost me after I sent 6 to 7 messages requesting an update about my order. The owner got online and stated that she had a family emergency, which is why she shut the storefront down and was not responding to anyone. I sent her yet another message asking if she was going to honor my gift card or refund me the money for the gift card since she did not come through and deliver ordered merchandise. I have found out that she has been doing this to multiple customers. I believe she is operating illegally and fraudulently.Initial Complaint

I ordered a $260 rug from ******* on May 1, 2023. The rug was supposed to be delivered to me after June 1, 2023, but ******* didn't realize until 6 weeks after the order was placed that she sold me an item she didn't have in her inventory. She asked me to wait and promised over and over that my rug would be arriving this week or next week. I stayed in communication with her through September to wait and see if a replacement would come in but it never did. Around 75% of my messages went unanswered, but I remained nice and gave her the benefit of the doubt throughout these months of waiting. In October, she said she wasn't sure she could guarantee my rug would come soon, and offered to get me a different rug, or go through with a refund on October 6, 2023, which I agreed to instead of a different rug. For 7 more more weeks,********* evaded my inquiries about my refund or said she was going to process it and never did. During that time, ******* had an issue with refunding my ****** *** transaction from May and advised me to open a case with ****** on November 13, 2023 as she wasn't able to issue a refund on her end. I did and the case was denied because it had been too long since the purchase was made. On November 28, she finally agreed to process my refund. When she did, she charged me via ****** *** so I incurred a $7 fee on a refund. I asked her to send me the full $260 back and she initially said the fee was out of her hands and she couldn't do anything about ******s practices. I asked her to send the amount that would cover the fee as it wasn't my responsibility to incur and she finally did. I woke up a month later, today, December 22, 2023 to her filing a chargeback for the money she refunded me in ****** stating she never received the item. But I am not the seller, she just couldn't find a way to refund me properly.Initial Complaint

Lule+Co sells home decor items through a private ******** group. On 11/11/2023 I purchased Christmas Garland, Greenery and other Home Decor items. I 11/12/2023 I paid for the items and received a paid invoice. I waited a few weeks and no shipping notification was sent, so I attempted to contact Lule+Co - having made roughly 10 attempts through email, ******** messenger to the Private Group, phone call (the phone number listed on the site is disconnected) and even a private message through ******** to the owner, all to no avail. I ordered a rug from the owner of this company (*******) via the ** account over two months ago. Shipping policy notes that it could take up to four weeks for delivery. I private messaged her to check the status of the rug, and she responded by saying that it could take up to four weeks, clearly dismissing the point that we were now talking months. I have messaged her since and have heard nothing. I am not the only person complaining. Check ****** reviews. She is a fraud! This is not fair at all. I simply asked for a refund but she is no longer responding. She does a lot of business on **.Business Response

*********************** was already issued a refund as her order was canceled. It was explained to this customer that this batch of rugs was canceled and all customers either received a refund or another rug. It was their choice. We take allegations of fraud very seriously. I have warned my group members about scams. I have a police report filed with the ************ Police Dept. in Pennsylvania as scammers have stolen my identity on social media many times and tried (or successfully) scammed members. I have been told there is nothing I can do since they are likely over seas and that I can only warn my customers. The ******** reviews that she is referring to are from customers who actually got scammed. They think that it was via my actual business, but in reality they never even communicated with me. I have been working with ****** to have them removed. Most have been successfully removed. Please disregard this complaint as it is invalid. The customer was issued a refund immediately after requesting it. Please see attached proof of refund.Customer Answer

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Understand that the refund was issued after I filed the complaint and posted the review. I heard from her only once (over the two months) after I initially made the purchase on Sep 8. It simply did not have to come to this.I appreciate the way this was handled by the BBB.

Purchased rug from store owner ***************************** in cash after communication on the phone and via ********** restocking fee of 15% for all rugs if you decide to return. I have communication to prove it. After deciding it didnt look good in my space I dropped it off within 24 hrs . Shes refusing to honor her return policy and blocked me after communication with her briefly on *********
