      This was sent 12/31/24 @midnight to the manager.Dear *******,I write to you in great disappointment. After driving close to 3 hrs, we arrived to the hotel check in which took some time then got to our room birch lodge 190 (where I have stayed in years past). The tub was full of hair, room has become rundown and scotch tape throughout the ceiling. Prior to entering the building there is a huge trash bag out front, when entering glasses that just were left that were never cleared which you could see when we went throughout the hotel in different areas and throughout. I have grown up going to church landing and having wonderful memories with my parents then when I had my own family my oldest ***** was here when she was 1 years old and is now turning 10 in Jan. **** my husband and I took her when she was one it was not only a very memorable trip and extremely special. It was the first time she had ever been in a pool. This would be her second time there and even she noticed how dirty the hotel was. The pool literally had hairs throughout it then cans and drinks surrounded the hot tub. And my youngest Orla who turns 8 in March this was the first time she was there. I was 2 months pregnant with her for the **********/******** wedding years ago thats when I was here last.I want to emphasize how special this place once was and well kept and it is beyond unfortunate how much it is deteriorated. We ended up checking out shortly after because the cleanliness of the whole atmosphere and you truly should be ashamed. We then packed our family up where we drove home another two hours. I ask that you credit my CC the 1k I previously purchased in gift certificates as a courtesy of a loyal client. As a business owner, I do not write negative reviews online and honestly in this case it could be done because how mismanaged this once beautiful and sought after destination has become. I have attached just a few pictures for your **************,***** ******* ********
