**************** Sales sold us a bad pick-up truck NOT SAFE for the road ??. It had a broken ball joint, loose body parts, leaking windshield pouring water in every time it rained. Worst part is there was a brand new inspection sticker on the windshield ??. Fraudulent inspection - it must have been one of his buddies that put that bad sticker on the truck.Once we bought the truck we had a "30 day bumper to bumper warranty ??" but that was not true ?? ! We was offered the opportunity for them to register the truck ! Convenient right ? WRONG ?? ! We had to do everything for them to register our truck and still it was about 20 days past the expired 20 day temp plate and they blamed it on us, the **** and everyone else but themselves ??. We went for an alignment and the garage found a bad ball joint and refused to allow us an alignment and they also told us there was much more wrong with the truck especially metal that can fly off the truck but ultimately it was not safe to do the alignment ?? because of the bad ball joint.I called French Town about the situation and they told me my son agreed to 50% to fix what was not originally inspectable when they sold us the truck but that was not true either (****'s). I told them absolutely no way would we agree to that and I would be contacting the state inspection garage. The owner **** claimed we was trying to extort him by getting a truck we paid for the way he told us it was but really wasn't. He screwed us !He told me to bring the truck in but would not fix it under the warranty he said we HAD and told us it WOULD BE 50 % and refused to tell us if he was charging us 50% of the repairs or not when I emailed him again Here is a link to **************** Sales voicemail they left us https://youtube.com/shorts/ldFTBcWQI8c?feature=share

Mr. **************** first off, YOU were not the purchaser of the vehicle. Your mother in law purchased this truck. The truck purchased by her was a 17 year old ***** Silverado with over ******* miles on it. This vehicle was sold with a LIMITED 30 day 50/50 warranty. This warranty is documented with your mother in laws signature. No used vehicles with over ******* miles have a bumper to bumper warranty available. Second, as explained in NUMEROUS emails, it took so long to get the license plates in because it took your son TWO WEEKS out of the allotted twenty days on the temporary tag to get a VIN check done, which he was informed of when the truck was purchased and picked up. After explaining this multiple times, you continued to harass us through emails stating that we were lying about DMV regulations, and making things up just to avoid getting your mother in laws truck registered. Next, the vehicle was inspected at an official RI state inspection station. There is no reason to create a review specifically under assumptions, as we provided your mother in law with a copy of the inspection sheet from the approved station, and we still have a copy of this as well. Additionally, we had this truck on our lot for an extended period of time and had no issues with the windshield. This issue only appeared after your son installed multiple heavy duty sub woofers into the back of the truck, which he came to Frenchtown blasting loudly, and from that the windshield began pulling away from the truck, which we were still planning on paying for. Regarding the ball joint, once your son informed us of this issue we let him know it would be taken care of, and never were we informed the vehicle was too unsafe for an alignment, or informed of possible metal flying off. We emailed you NUMEROUS times and let you know to drop off the truck for the repairs, you continued to instigate despite not even being the purchaser of the vehicle, and continued to contact us with complete misinformation from your son. We made our best attempt at rectifying the situation, but when someone who is not even the purchaser of the vehicle continues to try and create conflict instead of resolution, we made the decision to stop contact. Hence the voicemail linked, after continuous back and forth we had no interest in trying to further rectify the situation given all of the previously aforementioned issues with the extended family members of the customer. We have all of these contact attempts and numerous emails documented. At this point, Frenchtown Auto Sales has no interest in rectifying the issue between us and ****** St. ****** who did not even purchase a vehicle from us.
