I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned Volkswagen Tiguan from Speedcraft. I had it exclusively services at Speedcraft's service department. All oil changes were done close to the recommended mileage. Any additional repairs that were recommended by the service department were completed. In late December, the car's check engine light and oil light went on. My daughter attempted to schedule an appointment online but there was nothing available. One night she said an additional indicator went on so we decided the car should not be driven and we had AAA tow it to the dealership. The service department told us it needed an oil change, coolant, a Serpentine belt and something else. The car went in within 200 miles of when it was due for an oil change. Our service advisor called us an said the car was all set and ready for pick up. We paid the $1500 over the phone and my daughter drove it home. Immediately within 3 hours of picking it up the check engine light came back on and it made a funny sound upon starting we called AAA to have it towed back. The *** driver commented that the car smelled like it had no oil in it. It was towed back to Speedcraft. I called a few days later to ask the status of the car. They said they found metal shavings in the engine and that the engine and turbo needed to be replaced. I said how can that be 4 days earlier you made multiple repairs and I was told the car was fine. I went to meet with the service department. The service manager was rude and also lied saying she was the general manager. She said there was nothing she could do. I told her I was not paying for the repair that lasted 3 hours and also was responsible for destroying and otherwise running car. She approached my car and said she would not release the car to me. I contacted the general manager who told me to contact Volkswagen national. VOlkswagen national said it was a dealership problem. They refused to return my daughters belongings in the car for weeks.

I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint.

The general manager "****" said that there was nothing else he could do with my complaint. He said I needed to deal with the owner ***** ****. ***** did not contact me when the complaint was passed to him. On 1-28-25 i left a message for Mr. **** at the number provided by "****" with no response. Currently the dealership still has possession of my car which I have the title for. All contacts have been initiated by me. It is clear they have no intention to make me whole for destroying my car or selling me a lemon which lasted 90k miles while being dealer maintained
