I purchased 14 windows from Window World of Rhode Island in July of 2023. The installer with the help of some kids did a quick job. When they were finished, The installer said i can't check the operation of the windows because the caulking was wet. I gave everything a look-over and signed the check, although the ***** looked like they were wrapped by a twelve-year-old without the access to a square or ruler. There were excessive cuts in the aluminum to go around things in places where the aluminum should have gone underneath. Some of the wrap didn't fully cover the ***** and were filled in with extra caulking, which since cracked. They look OK from the road, but the crooked corners with sharp edges and pieces missing are ugly and dangerous up close. After the caulking dried, I checked the window operation and two bathroom windows were loose and would not stay open. Also, there was a large window with a strange grid pattern which was not what was in the configuration that was ordered. I opted to have it exchanged for a window without a grid.On 9/1/23, a Window World technician arrived to replace the large window and adjust the bathroom windows. The tech put set screws to create a drag so the bathroom windows wouldn't keep falling down and that went OK.On the replacement of the big window, I gave the tech a hand carrying the window. We moved it outside and when he opened the crate with the new window, the new window had a crack in it. Unfortunately, when the tech jammed his window tool into the corner of the old window to remove the trim, he broke the old window, which was reinstalled. On 10/17/23, I called Window World on the status of the new replacement window and they said they would need to send two techs to replace the window and that would take a while. Nine months later, I'm still waiting. The windows leaked a lot of cold air over the winter. The adjusters were all loose, having never been adjusted by the installers. I ended up adjusting them myself.

This review is LONG OVERDUE and if I could give this business ZERO STARS I would. I have used Window World before without a problem but NEVER AGAIN. From start to finish it was unprofessional and concerning from a consumers standpoint. From being ghosted by the salesman, haggling with ******* the apathetic owner and shoddy incompetent subcontractors I have been dragged through the mud spending a LOT of money to have new vinyl windows and siding installed. (**** in the office was the only decent human I dealt with as she got my receipts as I am standing there in tears) The installers had to come out multiple times ( I lost count) to fix issues that should have never been there in the first place...like siding over ROTTED WOOD and leaving cracks in window frames and patching with puddy. Today, 9/14/23 I noticed bubbling on siding (work was done 7 months ago by the way) which prompted me to write this long overdue review in hopes that this message gets across to all consumers NOT to hire this company. I am attaching pictures for your review-please don't make the same mistake I did. Now, I am no contractor but I am pretty certain you are not supposed to side over rotted wood-multiple times even....but what do I know?! Oh, and they tried marking up the cost of materials needed to fix their mistakes...but I went to the store and demanded the receipts. And the siding panels were all in different directions. Nails all over the yard! Can't make this up! Oh, and yes...that is my hand sticking out of the inside of my newly sided house. In January no less. ***check out my ****** review to see pictures. Completely unacceptable!
