Based on recent, positive visits and feedback from two relatives, I went to the Minute Clinic on August 26, 2024. All I needed was a simple Covid test result, in writing. The ** came out of her closed office door nearly 10 minutes later than my appointment. While walking past me, she abruptly asked if I had and appt? I answered yes. Then she asked if I signed in? Again, yes. She kept walking, headed to some other part of the ***. Once she finally returned, I made it clear that I didn't need anything other than a Covid-test. I was not sick. I was not there for a sick visit. She made repeated efforts to check my blood pressure (I refused), perform other treatments, retrieve and discuss my medical history, all of which I did not authorize. Instead, this provider (****** ******) did not even take the time to swab my nose for the Covid test. Instead, she handed the test stick to me, to do it myself! After much haggling, she gave me the negative results, and a bill for $240. She provided no supplemental information regarding the test result. Her bedside manner was pushy and disappointing. Unlike my relatives, I had a very negative experience at MinuteClinic. I recently received an invoice from my insurance provider. I plan to notify them of this as well and dispute the billed charges.Business Response

On 11/22/23 I visited a Minute Clinic LLC in ******, ** and received a Covid booster and a flu shot. This was not my first visit to Minute Clinic, so they have my paperwork, and I gave them my insurance information. They never processed my bill through my insurance (UMR) and Minute Clinic continues to send me the bill for $265.00. My insurance company has tried to help, saying that Minute Clinic needs to reprocess the bill through them. Minute Clinic has overlooked doing this since last November, and just keeps sending me the $265.00 bill, for which services *** has assured me are 100% covered by insurance. I have called Minute Clinics billing questions number at ************ many times but they never answer, and I hang up once 40 or 45 minutes have passed because I dont have time to wait endlessly. I have sent their billing office in *******, ME complaint letters twice about this issue. Minute Clinic provided me two vaccine shots that are fully covered by my *** insurance. They have neglected to process the claim. Minute Clinic needs to immediately forgive the $265.00 bill they keep sending me.Business Response

I was seen at the Minute Clinic in ****, ** on Friday August 30th, 2024 and provided my insurance information both online at the time of scheduling as well as physically presenting the card at the time of service. However, minute clinic not only did NOT submit a claim to my insurance but charged my credit card for $151.00 stating I agreed to the charges - which I absolutely did not. I have attempted to contact the billing department multiple times (at the ONLY support number available) and have been left on hold for over an hour with no answer. At this point, if Minute Clinic does not contact me to address this matter I will be forced to pursue a chargeback for fraudulent charges through my credit card company.Business Response

On September 11, 2023, I received a second Shingrix dose from Minute Clinic on *********** in *****, *****. (The most recent bill is attached). Since then, I have received about a dozen bills from Minute Clinic saying that I owe $211.00. My health insurance provider, United ******************* Advantage, has repeatedly informed me (via my phone calls to them) that it has been paid. The vaccine is no-cost for members. My phone calls to Minute Clinic are put on extended hold. My letter to them was not answered. Now Minute Clinic has turned this over to a debt collector, ****************** ("***" of Ft. **********, **) which threatens my credit rating. I am extremely upset over this matter. The full name of the medical provider is MinuteClinic Diagnostic of Texas LLC, which lists its address as P.O. ****************************. Phone ************.I would be happy to send you the original bill or the *** debt collection letter in order to force Minute Clinic to resolve this. Let me know what else I can do.Thank you very much.***************************Business Response

I recently experienced COVID symptoms and sought a test to confirm. *** seemed to be the easiest way to obtain a test, so I scheduled one through their Minute Clinic website. I paid with my credit card in advance and have no issues with the testing process or service m, but I received a duplicate bill for $69.99, even though I paid in advance. The bill itself listed the phone number for the location where I got the test for any questions regarding the bill, but when I called, they referred me to the *** main customer service line. When I called them, they told me they c it kid not assist with Minute Clinic billing and referred me to yet another number. Ten days later, I have not been able to get through to dispute this bill, despite waiting on hold for hours over several days. There are no other options for contacting this business.Business Response

My son was seen for a meningitis vaccination on 5/25/24 at the Beavercreek Minute Clinic. I now received a bill stating that my insurance company indicated that the service was ineligible to be covered. However, the insurance company listed on the bill is not my insurance company and I called my insurance company who stated that they were never billed for this service. I have tried four times on different days and at different times to contact a representative at the number provided on the bill but have been on hold for multiple hours each time and have never had the opportunity to talk to a person.Business Response

I went in to get a Hepatitis B shot at the minute clinic on ************************* in **************** just two weeks ago. I had a QUEST DIAGNOSTICS VACCINE VOUCHER. It should have been free. The injector told me that she had only put in a voucher one other time before but that she figured it out. Well, obviously she didnt since I am now being asked to pay $150+ dollars for the injection from the 3-shot-series. This was work related, the voucher was presented, and I should not be billed at all. I have called 4 times into minute clinic and have waited on the phone for 2, 3, sometimes 4 hours with no one to pick up my call. However, this is the only way you can handle a dispute. This is ridiculous and I want the charge to be corrected.Business Response

Date of service: 8/1/2024 Reason: rash on chin I called minute clinic ************ to request a paper bill. The woman said OK. Now instead of a paper bill I'm being barraged with text messages and emails to pay the bill. I'll gladly pay the bill when I receive a PAPER COPY.I called them today to again request a paper bill. Left a v/m. They called back & their number came up as robo call. I did not answer it. When I checked the # it was them. I called back again and still on hold. What the heck? I'm out of work 8 months -- do they need people to answer phones? The lack of personal customer service is long gone from this world. AS a customer service agent myself this is UNACCEPTABLE. IF I DON'T GET A PAPER BILL I AM NOT PAYING THIS BILL.Business Response

Entered by BBB staff DC. Consumer states on 7/18 she found a provider at the minute clinic. She was told they would not charge her card for the visit and she would be sent a bill in the mail for her co-pay. Her insurance was run through the computer & was told it was in the network and the claim would be sent to *****. 2 1/2 weeks later she was billed $222 on her credit card. She has tried contacting them twice & her insurance company has tried 5 times. Cigna paid their portion and the consumer should have paid $30. The business keeps hanging up on Cigna.Business Response

I was seen in the Minute Clinic inside CVS on ************************************* 4/15/24 and 4/22/24. According to my HealthPartners EOB's I recv'd the first week of May I owe CVS Minute Clinic a total $201.91 (4/15: $122.43 and 4/22: $79.48) I've been waiting for a billing statement since. In June, I called CVS customer service ***************) stayed on hold for over an hour. Talked with someone who told me a statement would be going out July 5th and she could not take my payment over the phone without a code that would be generated on the statement. I tried to go in person to pay my bill but the nurse Practitioner gave me the same customer service # to call, and she could not take my payment. I called again on 8/21. After holding another 1 hour 12 minutes, ****** mentioned my account was in collection and could not take my payment. She could see I was not set up for any statements and could see I never gotten one. She then placed me back on hold to transfer me to collections. After holder another 2 hours and 7 minutes...NO ONE PICKED UP. I had to hang up. On 8/22 **** from Minute Clinic support called me and mentioned I am not in collections. She could NOT take my payment over the phone. She said she would email AND mail me a billing statement. The statement she emailed was dated 6/27/2023 for $120.05. THAT was paid in full over a year ago. I do not owe for last year. The account # and code on that statement were invalid. I still have not recv'd the statement she said she would also mail, but I'm afraid it might be the same one she emailed me, which does me no good. I've filed a complaint to the BBB on 8/22 and recv'd a letter back from BBB stating complaint # ******** has been resolved. HOW WAS IT RESOLVED? I still do not have a CURRENT BILLING STATEMENT and no one will take my payment. I've never been on collections, and I value my credit rating. I just want to pay my current bill for ***** dates of service 4/15, 4/22, 2024. Nothing has been resolved.Business Response
