    I am filing this complaint regarding my recent experience with Volvo Cars Hilton Head, which has been deeply disappointing and riddled with misleading information, unauthorized charges, and unethical behavior that has resulted in both financial and emotional stress.

    I was misled into purchasing mandatory add-ons (******* ** and Assurant Theft Deterrent) that I did not want. I was told they could not be removed. However, the car was delivered extremely dirty—crumbs, stains, and grime—casting doubt that the ******* service was ever applied. The delivery driver could not show me where the theft deterrent device was located, and I still cannot locate it. I want written proof these add-ons are required and verification they were completed. I would ultimately prefer full refund, since these were services I did not ask for, but was told I had no choice but to purchase.

    There’s also a mileage discrepancy. The car was listed at 41,169 miles, but arrived with over 42,600—more than 1,400 miles higher, with no explanation.

    Finally, the dealership is delaying paying off my trade-in, despite having the ability to overnight the payment. This delay puts me at risk of accruing interest, missed payments, and credit damage.

    This experience reflects poor communication, misrepresentation, and unethical sales tactics.

    We discounted the customers cash on delivery by $350 for her to get a full detail on the vehicle.  We have also refunded a check to Ms. ******* lien holder company for the full amount of $1420.00, see attached.
