They did a wonderful job on our kitchen and Bathroom. They had a great selection at their Congaree rd. location. The salespeople were professional and thorough about the order things would be done in. Installers were courteous and answered the few questions we had. Would absolutely refer to others and use again.

Got my bathroom vanity from them. Their selection of stone is great and staff are very knowledgeable. We had a pleasant time working with East Coast Granite and Tile, will be going back to them for a kitchen

Like others posting here, I had a completely disappointing experience with East Coast. In fact, the worst ever home remodel experience I've ever had across 5 different properties. Before I forget, let me start with the good. They had a templater named, Dakato who was good. They also had a stone cutter in the Spartanburg office who was good. I think his name was, Salvator. Other than that, they were rude, incomplete, dishonest, and had poor craftmanship.
It took every bit of 6-months to complete a 1-month job. They couldn't get the counters level, even though the ones they took off were. They lost or sink. They forgot pieces of the counters, they tried to install the wrong material We caught them in multiple lies "no, we never said that..." "well, here's a picture...." "Oh...". Take pictures of their work, you'll need it. They are dishonest and install things they know are not right -- and once installed, you get zero customer service.
We refused to pay their bill until they completed the work. They threatened us with a silly letter saying they were going to file a Mechanic's lean. I called immediately to address and some rude woman told "don't get smart with me..." and she refused to put me on the phone with the person who signed the letter. I asked her for her name and she refused to tell me. I told her I was going to leave a poor review on BBB and she said, "I don't care, do whatever you want." We actually had to have another granite company come in to fix their mistakes.
Their excuse was always "we're twice as busy because of Covid...." Come on guys, that doesn't work anymore. Stear clear of these amateurs unless you want lots of headaches, no customer service, massive delays, and poor quality work.
I sent them several emails asking to speak to their owner about the mounting problems, they refused.
Being a good person, I'm sharing this to help other consumers (it's not fair not to), more than I am trying to hurt East Coast.

I saw that East Coast Granite had an A+ rating with BBB but their customer reviews averaged only 2.2 stars. However, after shopping around many companies for cabinets and countertops, I decided to take a chance on East Coast Granite. I used their location on ****** * ********* ***, Spartanburg for my tops and their location on Carpet Drive for my cabinets (a.k.a. Cabinets Connect). I couldn't be more happier with their service over the entire process from design, to ordering, delivery and installation. I also used them to install my marble backsplash tiles which I purchased from another company.. Our sales consultants were very professional and their installers were well trained and courteous. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering a new kitchen or remodel.

In 2019 we remodeled our home and purchased approximately $9000.00 worth of granite countertops for our kitchen and bathrooms. We also purchased a sealant that was to help preserve the shine of the granite with a 25 year warranty. In 2021 we started noticing problems that have continued to get worse. We contacted East Coast Granite and were told they only warrantied the countertops for installation only (not the granite) for one year. We have three cracks in our kitchen countertops running the full depth of the countertop and spidering out. They begin at the outer edge of the counter and are not at seams. We were told that East Coast Granite would come out but for a $250 fee to come look at the counters, then we would be responsible for the cost of the repairs. Additionally they thought it would be several months before they could get out to look.
We have been very careful about how we treat and use the countertops and do not abuse them with heavy, hot or cold pans on the surfaces and we clean them using the instructions we were given by East Coast Granite.
Next problem was with the finish that we paid extra for. East Coast told us that was contracted out to ******* ***, sold to us as a 25 year warranty. Scott H*********** spoke with us and said that we needed to buy additional products for a through cleaning and repolishing. The sealer was sold to us as a way to prevent this from happening. We don’t understand what the purpose of the warranty was? ******* *** also did not see pictures or send anyone out to look at the counters. We did receive an email with the website of where we could buy the cleaner and polish.
Our complaint is about the quality of granite, horrible customer service after the sale.
Our countertops should not need repair after three years or special cleaning. These products needed are different than what we were told.
Run away!! They don't stand behind the quality or workmanship once they take your money!! They run!

I would absolutely not recommend this business to anyone! After we picked out the granite we wanted for our countertop, it took them forever to get back with us. Man at the counter was rude and said they were regional and very busy. They finally came out and measured the countertop and gave us an estimate. You have to pay most upfront, before the project is done! About a month went by and supposedly the countertop was ready to install and when the guys got there, it wasn't even cut!! They cut it in the house and dust and particles were everywhere. They didn't wear a uniform or even a shirt with their company name. They chipped the granite countertop and tried to cover it up with a permanent marker and broke the backsplash in half! Very unprofessional and messy! Now, after waiting for so long! They have to come back and replace the backsplash! It looks bad! I had to clean the drawers out and clean all of them and spent another 2 hours cleaning up the kitchen! I wouldn't recommend them to anyone! We were told the granite would be cut at the store, and ready to install! Very poor workmanship!
