I paid the $35 parking fee but forgot that I was driving my wifes car and entered the license plate of my truck by mistake. When I returned, my vehicle was booted. I called the number and explained what I did but they told me that I had to pay the $50 fee to have the boot removed and then contact the company to get a credit. I paid the $50; however, the company refused to give me a credit.
    This is a slimy company

Unfortunately, the text to pay system is only as good as the information provided. Acme Parking is not the Platform company. Acme Parking enforces based on vehicle information. We are sorry that your error caused you unrest. That being said Acme Parking was not in the wrong.

I wish I could leave zero stars. I paid for parking, and extended my time once that was up while shopping in downtown Charleston. I got back to my car after Christmas shopping to see a boot on my car and a $56 parking fee. The Acme employee on the phone was extremely rude, and basically laughed at the fact that I received a ticket. I think they are just giving out boots and parking tickets as they please to make money. It's sad to see the price gouging in downtown Charleston. $7 to shop for 30 minutes is ridiculous. I'm a native to Charleston, and it is heart breaking to see so many small businesses closing because locals don't want to spend the ridiculous amount of money to park. Charleston doesn't care about the small businesses or locals anymore. That's why this city has pushed so many out. Charleston has lost its chars. Wouldn't recommend parking in any lots managed by Acme Parking.

We do not enforce vehicles without just cause the enforcement app would not let us if there were an active pass. This is an unjust  review.

Parking lot in Sullivans Island is a scam. They put QR codes for you to scan that don’t work then leave you a $45 ticket. Someone HAS to look into this. It’s highway robbery. I emailed them and showed them my phone and they were rude about it and suggested I didn’t want to pay for parking! I scanned their code TO PAY, how is it the customers fault that their system is flawed? I think it’s a scam.
