Took my car there for an oil change, brakes and rotors, along with work to my front end. Which was recommended. Paid almost $900 then with in a day my engine started smoking where the oil goes. End up having it towed to them to find out my engine needs to be replaced and they Put the wrong oil in the truck. When my mechanic I usually have it serviced at said the oil was the reason the engine was gone. Now they refusing to fix their mistake. I would rate them a ZERO

Unacceptable Service! Kept our car sitting for over a week, promising to service it. Then called us after 8 days to say that the mechanic couldn't get the hood up and that we would have to pick it up and take it somewhere else. Absolutely offered no options! When we arrived the car was unlocked and had been vandalized. Papers, CD's, and all of our personal items were thrown all over the seats and floor. The manager, appearing Frustrating With US, nonchalantly stated that he would review the camera's, but never did. We ended up to taking our car to the dealership. This store location is conveniently located in Southeast Columbia, where the social economic level is predominantly made up of working class citizens whom are dependent upon quality service that is fair and affordable. I'm extremely hurt and disappointed by the lack of service and accountability. Terrible experience! Absolutely do not recommend them. Unacceptable! Especially, since the website claims to have high quality service, experienced mechanics with certification's, however could not figure out how to open the hood of our vehicle. As for my Review: ZERO!

Brought my Wrangler in with a check engine code for an oil pressure sensor switch back in August. They ran a test and said the head gasket was bad and that I needed a new engine. Paid $7,000 for the engine with a 3yr/36,000 warranty, or so I was told. After installation of the new engine, I had to bring the Jeep back into their shop four times for them to attempt to fix the original problem with the oil pressure. Even though the engine was under warranty, they then referred me to the dealership because they didn't have the appropriate equipment. The dealership fixed the problem with an oil sensor harness replacement. Did I even need an engine replacement? Additionally, Precision was supposed to reimburse me for the repair. That never happened either. Around this time, they also informed me that my warranty was only 1yr/12,000 miles. I obviously wouldn't have moved forward with an engine replacement with that small warranty. They indicated that the previous manager they terminated gave me false information. They have multiple layers of management with only one decision-maker, a GM named Sam who does not respond to text messages or calls. It is now December and no resolution.

Yes my fiancé and I were supposed to get our brakes and roders fixed on July 21 for our 2020 Land Rover velar. The owner Mr. Brad said that he would not recommend us driving our vehicle because the back brakes, roders and sensors were warped. This process had been going on for 6 months. They lied and told me they fixed all 4 of my brakes, pads, and roders and did not fix the back. On the day of service he told me he did not have the two back tire brakes and roders and had to order them and I had to come back and get them fixed . I came back the following two days and he told me that it was the wrong size. I end up coming back the next week and a young guy but them on. The brake sign never went off of my vehicle and my truck was making a squealing noise. The noise got so loud I took it to Land Rover and they told me that the back brakes never got fixed and the pads were very much thin and they damaged the calipers. I called precision tune auto care in Irmo and Brad answered the phone and said I “I did not know I was suppose to do the front and back “ which is a lie because I did not pay $2,000 for just front brakes roders and sensors. Land Rover at the time was going to charge $2,700 to fix them and I thought that I was coming out better by going to precision tune auto care .I brung my truck back and he told me that it was my calipers that were messed up and I needed a tension pulley piece . He admitted that the young guy that “fixed t “ of the truck was fired because he messed up my truck . So now Brad has told me he will order the tension pulley piece and the rear brakes and pads and roders for free and they were going to fix it for free we paid a half deposit in October for the tension pulley piece and he told me he would order it . 3 weeks go by it is now the beginning of November and I never hear back from him I called the office and a district manager answers the phone and tells me that Brad and the other two guys were fired they stole money from customers.

I called for an appointment for a tire patch as I had a nail in the middle tread of my tire. I arrived early and they got me right in. I showed the technician the nail and he put a plug in it and charged me $33.00. I gave him $40 cash but he had no singles, nor $5s so I paid $30.00...for a plug. My tires are in great shape and I was extremely disappointed that he did not take the tire off and place a patch. I used to work here at this same location in Myrtle Beach, and we charged $20.00 for a patch, even if the vehicle had the "new" TPMS. My car is a 2004 with no TPMS. I usually go to the Surfside Firestone, but they were short handed and could not get me in today. Firestone patched a tire for me (the correct way) about 6 months ago and charged me $22.00 for the PATCH, not a plug. I am saddened to see how bad Precision Tune in Myrtle Beach has become, as I was a service writer for PTAC for years. I wanted to give them a try, only to be disappointed by the place that I was once so proud to work for under the owners Gerry and Linda Boyd. They had loyal customers because of their honesty and integrity. I will not go back there ever again. They obviously care more about "flipping" cars to make money. The customer is not important apparently. $30 for a plug shocked me, as I could have done that in my driveway with my plug kit for less than $6. The current owners need to know what is going on in this shop. I met the manager, who promptly left to "go to the gas station" and he never came back during the time I was there. That left only one person working, answering the phone, dealing with customers (none happened to come in) and ringing me out. There were at least 7 cars in the parking lot so I parked in the grass. I am just so, so disappointed to see Precision Tune then and now. I'm truely sorry I even went there. The potential is there, but not with the way it is being managed now. The tech and the manager were both pleasant but I don't trust their honesty.

Took my car in to have spark plugs and Coil packs replaced. Car stopped running properly. Had it taken to VW and they in formed me that the coil packs were not put on properly, and the smell of fuel was from something Precision Tine broke. So not only did it cost me $1000 at Precision, I’m paying VW $2000 to fix it all. I’ve never received such terrible work. Very dishonest and disappointing that a company would operate this way.
