We had a roof put on 5 years ago. We have had nothing but issues with it. It has been leaking in differnt rooms. We have called many times and complained about the issue. They have done nothing to repair it. they said there would be a cost. This company does not stand behind their work. I have had many roofing companies come and said there are multiple issues on the roof. They did a horrible job. This business does not care agout the customer, just the money they can make. Our roof has to be replaced after 5 years because of the multiple leaks. We have to spend extra money that we should not have to do. No one should be replacing their roof in 5 years. Do not use this company for your roofing needs. You should have peace of mind when you have a new roof put on, nothing but trouble from the begining. Crescent Const. Installed my roof January 2021. At the time I disagreed with Kevin and LJ D***** about just replacing the roof. They assured me a new roof would fix the leaks. It has been leaking in different places ever since. The first leak was around a stack from the kitchen. Water poured down the outside kitchen wall and even caused damage to Sheetrock and cupping of hard wood floor. Crescent sent three different people before it was stopped. Painters came a repaired inside. Attached photos show errors in installation. Recently a leak has started in the living room. Directly beneath a dip in the roof. I have more photos that show damage to wood ceiling inside. Two separate roofing companies have recommended total roof replacement. One company said shingles should not be used on my house due to the low pitch. Kevin Varnadore has been unwilling to talk with me. I began calling his office and emailing him since August 2023. One email response Dec 2023 saying the crew would redo part of what they did. I want a complete refund of $5,273.44 plus $1000 to repair damage to wood ceiling and repaint affected walls.Initial Complaint

You came out to my house June 10, 2022 and we signed contracts for roof replacement for $19353.42 and aluminum repair $958.77. You subsequently replaced my roof on Aug 3, 2022
During the roof replacement your roofers damaged my front gutter. This was discussed your Father, at the time of roofing payment. We agreed that we would work out the damage to the front gutter at the time of future aluminum repair. The damage was caused by the roofers sliding old shingles and tar paper over the side of the roof and apparently one of the old roofing nails hung up on the gutter and bent it, right at the front door. I witnessed this incident as it happened.
I have now sent numerous emails to [email protected], left a message on your on line contact website form, attempted to contact you personally at 803-209-1854, the number utilized during the roof replacement and on Oct 21, 2022 I personally spoke to Michelle at 803-781-1900, your office number, who took all this down and said she would get back with me.
I can only assume you have no intention of honoring your aluminum repair estimate or repairing the gutter damaged by your employees during the roof replacement. A return on $500 of the roofing payment will satisfy me on the gutter damage and I will pursue other contractors for the remainder of the work.
Additionally, I was promised a lifetime roof warranty document thru you and Owens Corning and you would provide the necessary paperwork to USAA for me to receive my recoverable depreciation. Neither of which has taken place.
I have reached the limit of my patience. If we have not been in contact and worked out a satisfactory resolution by 10 Nov I intend to file a formal BBB complaint and a very negative rating on Zillo. It is your lack of action that has driven me to this point. You have had Aug, Sept and Oct to get around to it!Initial Complaint

Crescent Construction installed a roof on my home in March2022. I was told that I would receive my transferable warranty from GAF (the shingle manufacturer) in about 6 weeks. I have followed up monthly since the six week period expired. The office manager has sent my requests to ***** ********* who said he would look into this issue. To date I still do not have my warranty nor have I heard further from ******** or *****. These folks advertise as "The Official Roofer of the Gamecocks"! My experience is they do not deliver on their promises or guarantee. I would appreciate any help you can give me in resolving this issue.

This company was hired to coat roof with silicone with a 2 year Crescent warranty and a 10 year material warranty for $13,905 on April 5, 2021 we signed the contract. Work did not start for a couple months and initially was not correctly completed so had to be redone and we were told it was the manufacture of the product that was the hold up and the reason it had to be redone. In November 2021 we paid $8,000 of the cost with the remainder to be paid when work completed to our satisfaction. After numerous calls the roof was completed and we paid the remainder with a $500 discount. We noticed a leak and contacted the company and a crew was sent to fix the problem. We hired someone to fix some damage to a support beam where the roof had been leaking and he said it was still leaking and when it rained again we could see that it was still leaking. Have called the company numerous times over the last few months (at least once a week) and have been told over and over again that someone would be here to fix the problem but no one has come. Was even told the owner was coming but still no one has showed up.Initial Complaint

I purchased a new roof that was to come with a warranty and was told the warranty information will be sent into the GAF company by Crescent so my warranty can be on file and after several calls to Crescent since the Feb 2022 installation I still do not have my warranty confirmation. I last called on August 12. Each time I call the office manager tells me that the owner will contact me. He never does and there has been no resolution.Business Response
