      On November 23, 2022, Palmetto Citizen placed derogatory information on my credit report (All three credit reporting agencies).

      There report stated that I fail to pay back a loan of $1632.00 and that this amount was charged off.

      I have written letters to both Palmetto Citizens and all three credit reporting agencies. Two of them responded back saying that they investigated and found that I this was my account.

      I knew that this could not be true because I have never even stepped foot in this business. I called Palmetto Citizen and spoke with Wanda G****. I advised her of the above situation and asked her to look into her system for anything with my name on it. She stated that they had nothing with my name on it. I do not nor have I ever had any type of account. I ask Ms. G**** to remove this false information off of my credit report. She stated that all I would have to do is to writhe the credit reporting agencies and when the investigate this, Palmetto would remove it from my credit report.

      As I stated above, Transunion stated that they investigated and found that it was my account.

      I am taking this route to try to resolve this before I file a formal complaint with the States Attorney Generals office.

      I am in the process to purchasing a home and this is causing me to have to pay a higher interest rate, or possibly not to qualify for a loan.

      I need this derogatory information removed from all Credit reporting agencies immediately.

      As a member-owned
      organization we work hard to assist our members and want to proactively address
      all member concerns.  Though Mr. ******* is no
      longer a member of our credit union, we want to assist him as promptly as
      possible with his concerns.
      In
      our staff member talking with Mr. ******* in November, they were giving him the
      best possible advice.  Specially concerning his credit bureau items, we
      need to know “what item” and for “what amount”.   Mr. *******’s
      assistance is needed, as we are unable to request a credit bureau report for
      Mr. ******* as a current borrower, and the credit file correction systems will
      not allow us to address his request for removing specific credit bureau items
      of concern.

      In
      a conversation by telephone on December 19, 2022, Mr. ******* made verbal
      statements he has filed disputes.  However, as of December 19, 2022 the
      credit bureau records show no disputes have been filed with any of the three
      credit reporting agencies. 

      Additionally,
      in talking to Mr. ******* on December 19, 2022, he became argumentative and
      uncooperative with the staff member working to assist him.  We will
      continue to work with Mr. ******* and in correspondence we have asked for his
      assistance to aid him in addressing the credit bureau issues of concern.

      If
      a credit bureau is stating a credit item is accurate, we believe Mr. ******* is
      perhaps not accurately stating his areas of concern and/or they are
      misinterpreting the issues.  Once again, we feel it is very important Mr.
      ******* work with us to resolve these issues, and have arranged a direct
      contact person to best aid him.

      I am rejecting this response because:  I game this company the same information I got from the credit reporting agencies.  They are playing some sort of game. So I have elected to turn this over to an attorney to handle.  The fact still remains that they had no right to report anything about me to any credit reporting agency (Per my attorney).
