      Extremely poor customer service. Pure fishing brands acts as if they are to high and might to actually speak to a customer.

      If you’d like a refund, just got your bank. Good luck dealing with them or any of their subsidiaries.

      Submitted a warranty claim and they sent me the wrong rod. Followed all instructions on the website and they blamed me for it all. Even in the initial email I provided receipt showing the rod info but they wanted to blame me for everything.

      I have no problem with the fishing products, have used them for over 60 years...BUT. I have tried for several days to get Pure Fishing on the phone OR e-mail. They have the absolute worst customer service I have experienced in 60 years. The have a machine answer the phone and then they NEVER return the call. I tried seven different phone numbers and cannot get an answer...except that machine full of options and no matter which option I chose, I got no response.

      After a shoreline bass tournament, another angler threatened me and my partner and tried to fight us several times. We did not comment until after they left the lake, they waited 3 hours to continue trying to insult/fight us, but did not want to resolve the issue at hand. Scott let this occur as they know one another and did not remove the fishermen. We then talked to scott, who is partners with Mike Szots, I asked a few questions and was banned. We did not threaten anyone, Mike Szots then said lets go before I beat this fucking kids ass, to me.

      I do not think Scott Snellen Represents pure fishing, your brand or image in a positive light, I will never purchase another product in association with Pure fishing or Sycamore Partners until he is removed as a representative of the operation.

      I've been using shakespear for about 46 years never had any issues.I average about 9000.00 a year on rids and reels for my charter service.Bought 6 7ft intercoastal rods October 2022.Used one trip.Used 2 trips 2023 so far and guess what all the guides are getting cuts in them from the line absolutely ridiculous. And pure fushing wants me to pay a handling fee and what ever else there trying to scam us out of.Not my fault your starting to sell junk.Guy on the phone even said I got a bad batch.Well they want me to pay lol.Ill just take my 9 grand a year to someone who appreciates it.STAY AWAY FROM THUS COMPANY!!! ALSO THE RODS RUINED ABOUT 2000 YARDS OF POWER PRO.STAY AWAY.

      Oversold their inventory during a sale. After waiting several days for my item to ship I contacted them to find out the status of my order. They told me they were sold out and wouldn’t fulfill my order and it would take several days to process a refund. Keep in mind I had to contact them to find this out. I placed this order on 6/2/23 and as of writing this review on 6/14/23 I still have not received a refund.

      Worst company in the world! I purchased a Shakespeare pole and had it less than a month before it snapped. I was over an hour away with family on a fishing trip and was able to catch one small fish. Next cast, the pole snapped. I am very angry. The company refuses to take any accountability. They ignore the better business bureau complaint, they ignore direct emails. They are crooks!!

      Caboodles is now a part of Pure Fishing - assuming that it is the fact that a Caboodle is a cosmetic tacklebox is the reason for this "marriage" but it is all wrong. I ordered 2 Caboodles for gifts but only received one. Attempts to contact customer service using the "contact us" tab on their website were unsuccessful. All you can do is email and those came back as undeliverable. Same holds true for the Pure Fishing site. Fortunately, there was a phone number on the packing slip that I called. Although this was not the right number for customer service, they did transfer me to "Berkley Services" and I began to wait on hold. Thank goodness I was using a second cell phone as my call was not answered until 2 hours and 8 minutes later! Turns out they canceled the order for the other Caboodle because it was out of stock. I asked about a refund which they process at my request but they admitted had I not contacted them, they WOULD NOT have notified me that the order was canceled or processed the refund. I believe this defines the word THEFT! A one star rating is one star too many.
