I paid $50 on May 30th for a Max X spinning combo w/ a bait pack. I clearly stated the address and so they knew it, but on the day of delivery after a week of waiting *** returned to sender because apparently they "couldn't find my address." It would be the sellers fault because they made the shipping label. I thought they would atleast send out a new one, but no, they sent me an email stating they cant send out a new package while one is already in transit, which again is false because it was delivered to them at 11:53 AM on June 10th while the email stating so was sent June 10th at 2:02 PM. On top of this, they didnt even give me a full refund. They didnt give my money pack for shipping because apparently, I returned it, even though it was their fault. Ive been trying for the past week and a half, since June 6th, to call them, however it is the same pattern. I fill in details, Im on hold for 5 minutes, and then they say they will get back to me. They never have. I tried calling their parent company, Pure Fishing, exact same call scheme. I tried to email them, they said they respond within 24 hours, its been 3 days and radio silence still. Im requesting a full refund along with a reshipment to make up for the amount of time and effort I have wasted on this package.Business Response

I ordered two fishing poles and 2 fishing rod/reel combos. I received two boxes but I am missing one of the fishing rod/reel combos(71.99). I sent them pictures of the boxes which were undamaged and not visibly tampered to PennFishing.com. I want my missing fishing rod/reel combo or my money back. Penn seems to absolved themselves of any responsibility.
Pennfishing.com also seems to be branded(Pure Fishing-this is what the boxes have on them). Customer service number 1-800-892-5444 seems to be an endless loop with a voicemail to leave a message which no one calls you back). All my correspondence has been email [email protected]. I tried contacting pure Fishing Inc. (Pflueger) in late October 2024 about some broken parts on a reel that still has a warranty on it (which
I have the original sales receipt...good until March of 2025, which I informed them of). I received a total of ONE phone reply from a "Lisa" at Pflueger customer service who asked me to provide the the specific reel number and to verify my contact and shipping information...WHICH I DID...BOTH... OVER THE PHONE TWICE...AND IN EMAILS FOUR TIMES! I STILL HAVE NOT YET RECEIVED A RESPONSE...A CONFIRMATION...NOR ANYTHING (PARTS OR NEW REEL) IN THE MAIL FROM THEM!
As I write this letter on December 3rd...it has been a month and a half since I tried reporting the problem with my reel...without any type of resolution...or so much as a courtesy response!
At this point (as there are multiple issues with this reel {presxtsp35x]) I want a full replacement (or refund) of this defective reel (again...which is still under warranty...that I can provide proof of on request) for having put my issue on a shelf...and basically blowing me off for well over a month!
I purchase Pflueger (and other Pure Fishing Inc. products) quite often...and have NEVER experienced this lack of customer service concern...and I am highly taken aback by it! In the future...I may have to think twice before purchasing this brand again...and also dissuade my my friends and family from doing so also...due to the horrendous lack of service I have received in this instance.Customer Answer

PURE FISHING HAS CONTACTED ME AND REQUESTED THAT I SEND MY REEL IN TO BE INSPECTED AND EITHER SERVICED OR REPLACED (FOR WHICH I HAD TO PAY SHIPPING OF $10 ON A WARRANTY CLAIM).
I REQUESTED A FULL REPLACEMENT AND/OR REFUND, AS I WAS BASICALLLY IGNORED OVER MY WARRANTY REQUEST FOR THE BETTER PART OF 2 MONTHS! I WOULD THINK THAT A COMPANY OF SUCH SIZE WOULD HAVE THE STAFFING AND ABILITY TO RESPOND IN A TIMELY FASHION, TO ANY CUSTOMER CONCERNS BROUGHT TO THEIR ATTENTION. I HAVE PURCHASED ITEMS FROM PURE FISHING AND ITS MANY SUBSIDIARIES FOR NEARLY 50 YEARS...AND MY DEALINGS WITH THEM IN THE PAST HAVE ALWAYS BEEN TOP NOTCH! THAT IS WHY I AM SO TAKEN ABACK AND FRANKLY "DISILLUSIONED" WITH THE SITUATION, TO PUT IT LIGHTLY AND POLITELY.
I AM CURRENTLY AWAITING A STATUS REPORT (OR FOLLOW-UP OF ANY KIND) AFTER SHIPPING MY REEL TO THEM AT MY OWN EXPENSE.

I ordered the 2 rod/reel combos on 9/25, received them 9/28. One of the combos was broken (see photo attached). The damage likely occured in transit (see photo of damaged box). The return protal at Pure Fishing does not work, it will not recognize my order number, ever. I have emailed them 6x accompanied by corresponding phone calls. I have left 6 viocemails messages, none of which have been responded to, and all efforts to contact them have resulted in disconnected phone numbers or redirections to the same queue which leads to nowhere. Their return policy is to be completed in 30 days. This is impossible when they don't respond.Business Response

I mailed in my defective (out of box) Penn slammer 4500 (275.00$ reel) on 8/2/24 for repair/replacement. The reel is under a year old, and the warranty is good for a year. I sent the reel, proof of purchase, and I paid my own money to mail the reel out to them. My phone calls and emails are not being returned. My concern is that this company has stolen my Penn Slammer or lost it. It has been 7 weeks since my reel has arrived at their facility, and I do not have a status update from them.Business Response

Placed online order #******* using the ******* app on July 1, 2024. I ordered 1 spinner reel combo, 1 bait cast combo, and two spin cast combos for a total of $305.91. The spinning combo and the spin cast combos were sent together using *** tracking number ******************. I returned home to find the box was heavily damaged. I took pictures through out the unboxing. I found that both Panfish spin cast combos had broken rods from the poor packaging and poor handling. I immediately attempted to contact Pflueger fishing via email and sent all of my pictures. I have emailed multiple times as of 7/16/24 without any response. I have tried calling multiple times, both Pflueger Fishing and Pure Fishing(parent company), without being able to speak to anyone. I have left 2 voicemails and have yet to receive a response.Business Response
