      On 5-10-2021 I entered into a contract with Bath Fitters to replace my existing shower. The amount paid at the time of the signed contract was $7694, which was paid in full that day. I was given a packet with all the information along with a referral paperwork. It stated that I would receive a $50.00 Visa gift card once the person I referred purchased their new tub or shower unit. I referred my brother in law. When he made the appointment he informed the individual who answered the phone that he was referred by me. BIL is having is tub conversion installed on 01-13-25 and 01-14-25. When I called Bath Fitters to inquire about my $50.00 gift card, I was told by Mr. Charles M***** that the franchise had been sold and that must have been a program the former franchise owner offered. Mr. M***** told me the new referral program is $125.00 and must be completed on line. Mr. M***** also told me they could not honor the referral that I have. My referral form does not mention anything about this referral program is subject to change. All I am asking for is for Bath Fitters to honor the form I have. I am NOT asking for the new referral amount of $125.00,just the $50.00 I was told (in writing) that I would receive.

      The referral program the customer is referring to was never promised or offered by our company. The only reference to this program is a generic flyer that was sent by the customer. We purchased the Oklahoma City franchise in December of 2023, and this customer purchased their Bath Fitter unit in May of 2021. We had no foreknowledge of any referral program, nor is there any contractual obligation to meet concerning one. We have assumed responsibility for the servicing of the customer's unit and will continue to do so for the lifetime of the unit.

      I had Bath fitters install a tub in my home at 105 Furman street Greenwood SC, 29649. The tub in question had a lifetime warranty, which I still have my paperwork and contract. I have called over the years with small problems and never had an issue getting in contact with anyone or them sending someone to complete the work. Well about a year or more ago I noticed that my tub had a crack in it. I tried contacting bath fitters through the number I have used previously. On this occasion I was told that this number was for new customers and was given another number to call. I never got a response. I was given and tried several different numbers and a email address. I never got a call back or a email back. The Crack in the tub has caused damage to my bathroom floors, which if I could have had the tub replaced or fixed it would not have been a issue. I cannot say if the individuals that I talked to were honest in the information that I was given but I had never had any issues with bath fitters fixing any issues I have had.
