    Horrible service department. I only recommend taking your camper to their service department if you need a place to store it for 6 weeks or more even during prime camping season. We purchased a new ****** camper from this dealership 12/2024. We scheduled what should have been relatively simple warranty work (seat latch needed repaired and roof solar panel had about an inch section that needed glued down). By phone, I was led to believe I could wait while they repaired it. When my spouse arrived 4/10/25 for the appointment, the rude service department staff member said that their process is to leave the camper with them. He said it would be 7-10 days before they would look at the issues after which they would contact ****** and wait for parts which they said could take 6 weeks or longer. One of the employees chimed in that it could take a long time because ****** is run by Amish people which seemed like a very inappropriate comment. He said that the camper must stay with them on their lot for the entire time because driving it off the lot would start the entire cycle of wait times over. Of note, the lot was full of campers apparently waiting for service. My spouse drove it right off the lot, and we will never return. We plan to contact ****** ourselves to find another dealership that will service the camper. The only redeeming aspect of this experience is that it reinforced our wise decision not to buy the Blue Compass extended service plan/warranty which was repeatedly recommended by the sales department.

    DON'T do business w/ Sonny's Camp & Travel, Duncan, SC.
    -Aug. of '22. Contacted Sonny's Service to schedule warranty repairs for 15 items & 2 additional items.
    -9/14 appt. KP, Service Sup., stated they would have the time they needed to diagnose, submit claims & address the additional service items.
    -10/5. 1 of extra service items, not warranty related, weren't addressed. No warranty approval status, didn't follow up with the mfr regarding claim status...they had our travel trailer for 3 weeks.
    -10/14. Called KP. Set appt to complete warranty items. Appt. set 11/15. KP stated all 15 warranty items had been approved & received.
    -11/28. Picked up travel trailer. Learned 2/3 major repairs hadn't been addressed. They lost replacement cabinet & no status update on blind replacement. Will S*******, Service Dept Mgr. was apologetic & embarrassed we had been misinformed by KP, agreed they would find the cabinet, communicate replacement cabinet & blind status, then schedule an appointment early 2023. If we couldn't get there, they would ship parts to the selected dealer in the West.
    -NO return calls & emails. 6 weeks later, KP's text was in all CAPs, dismissive & rude. I requested another Service employee. She informed me the cabinet & blind were located, they had been lost in their Parts Dept. She apologized, spoke w/ Will S*******, confirmed they would ship replacement parts to dealership of our choice in the West.
    - Months later, texted KP we would be in Duncan in August '23. Scheduled final appt, 8/16/23. Aug. came, my wife & I got COVID. I requested replacement items be shipped to dealership in Portland, OR, as Will S******* had promised. KP texted they considered the issue closed.
    -Lack of customer consideration, timely communication, not completing services & their dismissive manner, made this our SINGLE WORST TREATMENT EVER. Sonny's Camp & Travel doesn't deserve your business. By extension, don't visit their dealerships in Spartanburg, SC & Concord, NC.
