4/8/2024 date of the complaint The amount of money each month $1350.00 Duncan property management The dispute was mold and mildew in home. Duncan property has not resolved the property or any issues nor have the contacted us after multiple images and emails were made. Documents of my children going to the doctors have been made due to past months health issues. The business owner of the apartment was also notified and no one has contacted us or has came to resolve or look at the property. They’re asking for rent or we get an eviction on us even though we’ve asked for them to come look and see the mold and mildews that is exposed in the ceilings and walls

    Business Response

    Date: 04/23/2024

The tenant notified us via email concerning mold being in the home. We sent it to the owner of the property to get approval.  We were out of town and returned on the 12th with another email about the same issue and we had not heard from the owner at this time.  We reached out to the owner and he gave us approval to have someone come and see if it was mold.   We asked her in the same email, when rent would be paid for the month of April?  Her response was threating us to send a complaint.  She responded with a very nasty, cussing email.   We explained to her that we have contacted a mold to company to come look at the area and she would have to wait on him to schedule a time.

Sunday, April 20th we received a phone call from the City of Easley Police that something was going on at *** **** **** ** ** Easley.  ****** *** ******* ****** met the police at the property.  They entered the property and there were other people not on the lease living there with a dog, paying **** rent and **** wasn't paying rent to DPM (sub-leasing).  We do not allow sub-leasing - it is stated in the lease she signed.  While we were at the property we look at the area she said was mold and it was installation coming off - not mold.   This was all a scam because she was violating her lease and was trying not to be evicted.  The people in the property removed most of there belongings and we went back to the property Monday and let them get the rest of their stuff and we changed locks on the property.
