      I closed on my home in January 2023, since then I have struggled to get my home fixed according to the contract I signed. I tried being patient as the builder told me numerous times that they were overwhelmed with the amount of items to fix. They asked me to hold my items until later in the year, and then to submit them again to be fixed all at once. I did that and I wasn't assigned a crew to fix my warranty items until Summer of 2024. The subcontracted crew came and fixed all but two items: broken kitchen pendant lights and wrong color house. Yes my newly built home, is the wrong color. I have the contract documentation and numerous conversations where the builder, subcontractor and Broadstreet Executive ******* ********. ******* visited my home in August 2024 to tell view the remaining two items and he confirmed that Broadstreet would be responsible for fixing these remaining warranty requests. Since that in person meeting, I have not received any communication back from Broadstreet. I have emailed *******, ***************** ****** ****** (original construction manager) multiple times asking for an update. I have left numerous voicemails as well with no response from anyone at Broadstreet. I have been nothing but patient and understanding but my patience has run out and I just want my home to finally be finished. The attached contract shows the executed house agreement. Page 22 shows the selected house colors.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  I understand that some things are out of their control.  One of the most frustrating issues have been spotty communication which leaves us to believe that we are left out on an island to deal with our problems.  However, communication has gotten progressively better and we are working together to get all items taken care of.

      Thank you for the opportunity to address the complaint regarding the home built at **********************************************************************************************. We want to assure you that we are in ongoing communication with the client and are committed to resolving all concerns to their satisfaction.  Unfortunately, due to material and labor shortages beyond our control, some repairs and adjustments have taken longer than anticipated. We are actively working to source replacement parts from alternative suppliers as some items are currently on backorder.


      As of September 12, 2024, we have two managers and the respective subcontractors on-site addressing the issues with the materials that have arrived. I have personally assured ********************** that all items on his list will be attended to promptly.  We regret that this matter has been escalated to the BBB, but please be assured that we are diligently working to resolve all concerns and ensure ************************ satisfaction.
