I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.

Heights Finance replied with a letter stating that they can not able to identify me under address and or account number. With this response I demand them contact all 3 credit bureaus and have the account deleted immediately.  If this is not done I will file a complaint with the CFPB as well.

Once again Heights Finance has not met the FCRA requirements. They are a financial institution that reports to the Credit Reporting Agencies. They state that they cannot locate my identity with just my name. I should not have to provide anything to this financial institution besides my name to investigate if they have a file or not. This proves that they are inaccurately if they CAN NOT find any records just by a first and last name. They are the ones that are reporting the reports to the CRA’s. I demand Heights Finance to send a letter to all the Credit Reporting Agencies to have any items with their Companies name removed from my Credit Report.

******* ****          I am rejecting  tne resolution from this company. The compliance manager shows total ignorance or indifference to established bankruptcy law. He also states that the Bankruptcy was discharged 0n April of 2020. This is not correct. It was discharged in August of 2019. The law states that you can not continue to show delinquency on dates prior to the filing, after the bankruptcy is discharged. My attorney wrote a letter ,explaining this to him. Because of his surprising stubbornness on this matter. I have no choice but to inform my attorney to go ahead and initiate a law suit  against this compliance manager and his company. I need for them to delete the negative information all together or report to ******** credit bureau  only that the account  was  discharged in Bankruptcy . the original  balance was 970.00 and now the balance owed is  0. Every other creditor on the bankruptcy petition has done this except Covington. If this is not done within 15 days I am filing suit. My attorney tells me I can file for damages, court costs and and the damages will be tripled for violating a court order.

      Dear Mr. ****:

This letter is in response to your complaint submitted to the Better Business Bureau (“BBB”)

You obtained a loan from our Nacogdoches office in Texas on August 28, 2018, in the amount of
$970.00 and agreed to repay it in ten (10) monthly installments of $97.00 beginning October 01,

In your complaint, you state that you filed bankruptcy in 2019, and all debts were removed. As

      Dear Mr. ****:

This letter is in response to your complaint submitted to the Better Business Bureau (“BBB”)
      received by ********* ****** ************ ************* on July 19, 2023. According to our
records, you obtained a loan from our Nacogdoches office in Texas on August 28, 2018, in the
amount of $970.00 and agreed to repay it in ten (10) monthly installments of $97.00 beginning
      October 01, 2018.

First, please accept our apologies for misstating your bankruptcy discharge date in our prior letter.
That was an unintentional typo. Our records agree that your bankruptcy was filed May 31, 2019,
and discharged in August 2019. In your complaint, you state that bankruptcy law does not allow
creditors to continue to report missed or late payments to the credit reporting agencies (“CRAs”)
that occurred prior to the date of filing for bankruptcy protection after a case is discharged. We
agree. Please note that the delinquency reported on your credit report is for the period predating
the filing and is in compliance with bankruptcy law. We agree that you are no longer responsible
for paying the account, but the history of the account will remain, including any late payments
made on the account prior to bankruptcy. After a thorough investigation, we have confirmed that
the loan is accurately reporting as “Closed” with a zero balance as of the bankruptcy discharge
date. As the bankruptcy case was filed on May 31, 2019, accurate reporting of the loan reflects the
actual status each month until the date of filing. As there is no error in the reporting of the account,
no updates or changes will be made.

We hope this explanation satisfies your concerns regarding the reporting of your closed account.

      Sincerely,

      Travis ** B******

I reviewed my Consumer Reports and noticed that there was an inaccurate account on my credit report, CVGTN TX**** ACCT# **********
Consumer Reporting Agencies have assumed a vital role and have a responsibility to report Consumer information to the best of their ability with maximum accuracy.
I contacted "CVGTN TX****" and asked for them to investigate & remove the inaccurate account from my consumer report that they are illegally reporting and I requested specifically the alleged original application bearing my signature and they have not been able to provide such proof to me.
This is a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and these disputed items may not appear on my credit report if they can't be verified by any evidence or proof.

However, that is illegal and against my consumer rights. This letter is in response to your complaint submitted to the Better Business Bureau (“BBB”)
received by Covington Credit, Inc. (“Covington”) on May 11, 2023.

You obtained a loan from our Dallas office in Texas on August 16, 2018, in the amount of

In your complaint, you requested a copy of the original application bearing your signature and
state that you did not authorize Covington Credit to report this account to the Credit Reporting
Agencies. A copy of the signed agreement is included in this response; furthermore, by signing

Filed complaint before because Covington changed account number and i could not make payments online. Covington provided a new account number but the new account is faulty, when trying to register with new account the account number is red showing it is not right. Covington has failed again to provide a valid account number, see attached for screen shots of their error. The new account number they gave me is (******). This is the worst customer service i have ever experienced, it is like they do not want any more payments? They need to provide a valid account number or fix their MyAccount tools.

FIx this, provide valid account number or instructions that work or fix your website.

This business tried to extort money from me by wanting me to pay on a debt that was paid in full on May 20 2020. They emailed me first saying I owe money. They sent me a letter using branch manager from ****** Texas Covington Credit name when she did not send me the letter. Someone from Heights financial is trying to profit after years have passed. I had cancer in 2019 and could not pay my bills. In 2020 I settled several loans and played them all. Covington credit was one of them. Now Heights financial wanted me to pay the rest although I was paid in full. Branch manager of Covington was unaware what was going on. I do not know who would have profited from it.

I have been reaching out to this company and the bureaus in regards to inaccurate reporting on my credit report for about a year now, if not longer. When my account was open, the company was ********* ****** not ***** ******. I’m not aware of ***** ******. I’m in the process of buying another home, but the information that is being reported is incorrect across all three bureaus. There’s a different account name being reported for all three bureaus: ******* – *********, ********** – ********* ******, and ******** – ***** ******/Smc.
******* is reporting the account as 120 DAYS LATE, ******** is reporting as Coll/Chargeoff, & ********** is reporting as Coll/Chargeoff. ******* is reporting the name of the account as *********, ******** is reporting the name of the account as ***** ******/Smc, & ********** is reporting the name of the account as ********* ****** - ******. ********** is reporting the account being opened on 10/11/2018, ******** is reporting the account being opened on 10/01/2018, & ******* is reporting the account being opened on 10/01/2018.
This account is being reported with a different date of activity date & continuously being updated amongst each credit bureau & is not properly verified or consistent. ******* is reporting the last date of activity as 11/01/2022, ******** is reporting the last date reported as 09/10/2019, & ********** is reporting the last date of activity as 9/10/2019. The remarks & payment history are different for each bureau. This inaccurate information is negatively affecting my credit history. According to the FCRA, Section 611 (5)(A), the bureaus are required to DELETE all information that is inaccurate, incomplete, or which cannot be verified IMMEDIATELY from my credit report, but nothing is being done in a timely manner.
