I sent an email with pictures on 10/8/24 asking this HOA team to please remove a fallen tree from hurricane Helene from my property. There was no response to my email, so my husband went up to their office and left a note in the dropbox. I received a follow-up call a few days later and was told the tree would be removed at the HOA's expense. Several weeks went by and no call. My husband goes back to the office and was told a manager would call us. No call. I left a few more messages. I get a call back and was told that they would not remove the tree. I explained that I was told my another employee that they would remove the tree. He says that he will have a manager call me. No return call. My husband goes back to the office today and calls me when he gets there with the same lady that told me that they would remove the tree. Now she tells me that because the tree that fell off HOA property damaged our fence, they can't remove the tree. It's very upsetting to know that not only did I email them pictures of the damage showing that the tree fell on our fence, but I told the lady this over the phone and she told me that they would remove the tree. VERY POOR COMMUNICATION AND FOLLOW-UP TIME. Because they took so long to follow-up, my insurance company closed my claim and I have to call and reopen it. How can they manage an HOA when they couldn't even address our situation in a timely and professional manner.

Recently (1/28/2023) I was charged a delinquent fee and interest for delinquent HOA dues. Those dues were paid on 11/29/2022 and were not due until 1/15/2023. I am not the only homeowner with this problem this year. As a fiduciary, as they claim to be, accounting errors such as this are unsatisfactory and bring up the question of whether all their financial transactions are prone to such errors.
