    I got married on 6/10/23, dropped off my flowers in person and paid Jana $341.00 on 06/11/23 for my floral preservation order consisting of 2 Christmas ornaments and an 8x10 frame with pressed flowers. I was originally told that my order would be fulfilled by December 2023. I reached out to Jana in December in 2023 (via email) January 2024 (via email), and finally heard back after reaching out again in Feb 2024 (via text). On 2/8/24 I was promised my order would be sent by the end of that month. Long story short, I have now been promised over a dozen times that my order would be fulfilled and shipped by the end of the week, month etc. I STILL have not received the ornaments I ordered. I have reached out to Jana consistently via email, text, phone calls, and through her new business page on instagram and am only ever responded to after sending 10-15 messages. Each time she responds, I am given a reason (often that she has been sick or injured) and am promised again that she will send the order within x days before being blown off again. I am so frustrated by the lack of communication and lack of follow through on Jana's end. I just want to receive the remainder of my order so that I can put this behind me.

    In Sept 2023, I paid Jana over $630 for floral preservation items. I was given a timeline of Jan 2024 for completion of my project. My maid of honor drove my florals to Jana's home in Vermont the day after my wedding in Sept 2023. After I paid my invoice, I didn't hear from Jana again until I emailed her in January 2024 asking for an update. In which she shared with me that she had moved to South Carolina and would be getting my items to me in March/April 2024. I received no communication from her until I reached out to her again for an update in April 2024.Meanwhile, I decided to do some research online about the business and discovered many other brides being scammed by her. This caused me to file a dispute with my bank in which I got my money back. I emailed Jana asking that she just send me florals back at this point. She refused and promised me my items were almost complete and convinced me to cancel the dispute, so I did. Boy, don't I regret that! After many more emails and texts, I received part of my order in May 2024 and another part of my order in Nov 2024. Her work was clearly rushed, and I am not sure if my actual florals were used. She states she hasn't been able to ship me the rest of my items due to phone/email issues, being out of town, her mother-in-law passing away, surgeries and more. It is now April 2025, and I still have not received all of my items and still need to send her multiple texts to get her to communicate with me. I have been promised multiple deadlines and just want the items that I paid for. I hope this review saves other people in VT, SC and wherever else she advertises her services, from paying her and trusting her to provide a service that she won't deliver timely if at all.

    We made a deposit of $100 before our August 2023 wedding. Then we sent flowers and the rest of the amount ($400) after the wedding, appx. September 2023. We have been told the flowers would ship the following week over and over again. We also asked for a refund but was told the product was already being made and no refund was available, but we still haven't received anything.

    I purchased my bouquet which was $500 and sent it to this company for floral preservation. Shipping cost $30 and preservation $700. I did not receive my product. She took my money and didn’t receive the product.

    I contacted this business for floral preservation of my wedding flowers. I paid $333.20 on August 6, 2023 for a pressed frame and ring holder to be created with my flowers. I was told 16-20 weeks with an estimate of December. I had contacted this business over 10 times and the date continues to be pushed out with a variety of excuses for the delay such as, moving, illness, sick daughter, death in the family, etc. I purchased these items through her website, however she is also located on Etsy and there are 3 or 4 other comments of people who are being given the same run around.

    In June of 2023 I paid a $100 deposit for our wedding flowers to be preserved. The week before our wedding on 9/2/23, I paid for our order in full (another $365) and had a phone call with Jana, the owner, who stated that turnaround time was 3-4 months. The morning after our wedding on 9/10/23, I dropped off an entire car full of very expensive flowers that had to be specially sourced due to the time of year (peonies, ranunculus, sweet peas, etc) to Jana directly and was told that hopefully the order would be done by Christmas. This was perfect, as I had ordered something for a gift.

    Christmas came and went and by January I still hadn’t heard from her, so I sent an email. I was alarmed to hear that she had moved several states away and immediately worried about the state of my flowers. How could she possibly move and safely transport that many florals, assuming I wasn’t her only customer who hadn’t received their order yet? She gave me excuses about her health, the move, and a broken phone and told me my order would be done by the end of March. The conversation was left at that.

    By April, I still hadn’t received my order and sent another communication. This time, she got extremely defensive and accused me of being threatening and then attempted to use my profession as a way to insinuate that I should be more understanding of her situation. This felt WILDLY inappropriate. What’s more, now she says my order won’t be ready until the end of May. She also notes that this work can’t be rushed, but she’s going to move quickly on mine. As a bride, my flowers were one of my favorite parts of the day… I’m devastated that this has been my experience and heartbroken to think that I might never get my flowers back.

    Of note, I still have not received a response from her. Furthermore, my florist reached out several times and has also been ignored. It is really upsetting that Jana is advertising such a special service and not delivering. Brides deserve better and should beware.

    I engaged with Jana L******** of Tanglewood Floral Preservation LLC to preserve my wedding flowers. My wedding was in Sept 2022 and I promptly sent her my flowers per our contract. It is now March 2024 and I still have not received the entirety of my order despite endless promises from Jana that she would be "shipping out my order next week." The email exchanges between us coupled with Instagram DMs show consistent lies from Jana regarding the status of my order. She has yet to deliver the entirety of my order or refund my money. It has been over 18 months and she ignores me or comes up with excuses as to why she cannot send me my order. This business needs to be investigated for its continuous wrong doing. This is also being reported to the Vermont Attorney General.

    I purchased a reservation for floral preservation on March 17, 2023 to have my wedding bouquet preserved. The reservation was $100. The purchase was made under my maiden name ******* ********.

    On 6/11/2023 I made the full payment for the cost of the floral preservation, a total of $650.

    I dropped off my wedding bouquet on June 18, 2023 to her location in **********, VT. It was told to us that the preservation and shipping of preserved items can take 2-4 months.

    Emailed October 2023 without a response from the business owner. Emailed again December 2023 for an update with same day response stating she was very behind on her work, understaffed, and had moved all the way from Vermont to South Carolina with my dried flowers. I asked for an estimated timeframe the preservation would be completed and she stated she was hoping it would be done by the end of January.

    I emailed January 31, 2024 asking for an update on my preservation and did not yet receive a response. I sent another email today 2/8/24.

    At this point, I have spent $750 on a preservation that was supposed to be completed months ago. I have no confidence that I will ever receive this item based on the lack of response from the business owner and multiple failed timelines she has given me. I also don’t think there will be any quality in the product due to moving with the delicate florals.

    I have received a message from the business but the complaint hasn’t been resolved. The business owner listed excuses for their lack of action in regard to my order and lack of response to my emails (health issues, broken phone, etc). They then asked me to remove my complaint with BBB. I still haven’t received communication about when my order will be fulfilled (although I was told this would happen by the end of this week) and there has been no sort of financial compensation.

    I ordered $1,100 worth of floral preservation product- a resin tray, book ends, coasters, wine toppers, and a ring holder. I ordered and paid for the product last June 2022 right before my 6/25/22 wedding. I shipped the flowers to Jana the Tuesday after, 6/28/22. I was told, by Jana herself and her website, that my order would take 14-20 weeks. It has been an entire year and I still have not received my order. I have reached out 4 times for updates on the order- in November I was told I’d have it by Christmas, in February I was told I would have it in a month, in May I was told I would have it by the end of the month, and two weeks ago I was told she would send it by the end of that week…I still have not received my product.

    I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ********. Please add your rejection comments below; if you do not provide any details, your complaint will be closed as Answered. 

    Making a BBB complaint is not ‘threatening’ this business in any way. As an update to my complaint that I filed an entire year ago, that the business is JUST NOW responding to- I STILL HAVE YET to receive my full order TWO YEARS LATER. All that I have received is a damaged tray (which was not the business’ fault, it damaged in the mail). I am still waiting on $600 worth of product: in the OVER two years since I placed my order, I have not received bookends, coasters, a ring holder, or wine toppers with my precious, irreplaceable wedding flowers in them. I made this complaint last year so that no other brides go through what I have- it is heartbreaking to lose such a special, irreplaceable part of your once in a lifetime wedding day.
