    My husband and I had a consult with PHD Weight loss on June 29th at noon. We sat through the basic explanation of their program and answered their questions. We were there about 2 hours. Their website is plastered with pics of fresh and healthy REAL food but they were very vague on what their meal plans included in the "we cover 80% of your food". Just stating it's "so good", "it's so easy", and "you'll love it". They charged us FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS which isn't even half of their 6 month program. At this point we still thought it was an actual meal plan. They handed us each a bag of "snacks" and dehydrogenated soup kits as 80% of the food they provide. We walked away a little stunned. Called later that SAME DAY and said we would be returning the bags of "food" and we decided to not continue with the program. We returned everything the next day and we were passed around from represenrepresentative to manager to operations team to finally someone at corporate saying "sorry, we won't be refunding you anything". This is a complete scam. Please help us with this situation! We are a 1 income family with a special needs child who has various therapies that we pay out of pocket for due to having a very high deductible family plan. I cannot believe that they are able to keep our money after we returned their products and had only 1 initial consultation. This is a terrible organization.

    Fortunately, the company has reached out and they have agreed to refund us in the next 3 business days. We consider the issue resolved at this point. Thank you for your help with this matter.
