    I paid for three months trash pick-up from O’Neal Sanitation in August 2022. I quickly found out that their services were far inferior to other local providers. When I tried to cancel service, in August, I was told they would not refund the three-month prepayment and that I would have to complete their required cancellation paperwork, which they have yet to send me. It’s October 31, 2022 and the three months is now up. O’Neal still will not send me the cancellation paperwork, they won’t give me a date when they’ll pick up their trash barrel. They will not return the numerous phone messages I’ve left on their voicemail, nor even pick-up my calls unless I call from a blocked number. They have no physical address (the one listed is closed) and have no email addresses to send a written request to. Only one person, Tom, answers the phone. I’ve spoken with him many times and each time he pretends that we’ve never spoken and says he has no record of a cancellation request. He says he cannot terminate service, that only his bosses can. His bosses will not contact me nor will Tom provide me with the information to contact them.

    Not that this was unusual, but our trash was not picked up on our pick up day. Our pick up day is Wednesday. I put my trash out Tuesday evenings because of HOA rules. Every.couple months my trash is not picked up because they come on Tuesday instead. I am told on these occasions my trash must be out on Tuesday by 5pm, but as a working adult this is not feasible because I get home after 5pm. When I called this time I was told by Tom they made a business decision to cancel the route in my area. This was the morning after my scheduled pick up. When asked what I was supposed to do with my trash that I have to keep in my garage I was told they may or may not take it when they picked up my bin in a week or two, maybe longer if they were busy. The lack of communication is inexcusable. Had prior notice been given other arrangements could have been made. A return call for when this would be taken care of is yet to be returned.

    We returned Mr. ********* phone call and had a good conversation. It is unfortunate that this situation was mishandled. Mr. ******* was very kind despite not being treated professionally. We have picked up the trash and the cart, and also fully refunded Mr. ********* money. If there is anything else we can do, please let us know. Thank you.
