      I have pain under a crown!
      1/4 appointment I made online for emergency services. They take X-ray and I sleep in a chair for 30 minutes…. Dr. Looks and says no infection…. I need a crown….. I pay in full and scheduled for 2 weeks later! I go back to work…. Pain worsens… I call and ask to be moved up sooner. Receptionist says we’ll right ur name down for any cancellations. Same night the pain under my crown is so bad I pulled the damn thing off myself and had some immediate relief. I went to work the next day at 1607 I called the office…. Voice mail… I told them I’ in excruciating pain, I had to remove the crown myself and the original tooth is clearly infected and decayed. I need an antibiotic and my appointment moved up ASAP….. no response. 1612 I called the Aspen emergency line and gave the same symptoms and request. No response from the on call doctor. 1955 I left another message with the Aspen office reiterating my concerns. 1957 I called the emergency line again…. Again went through what I’m going through. Finally at 2117 I received a callback from the on call doctor who said they were out of town and wanted to know what they wanted me to do. They offered no answer and told me they can’t do root canals. On call should not be out of town and ready go provide any services needed for emergency patients. I got screwed. I want my money back now. They don’t care!

      Very bad customer service ....on arriving for a regular cleaning, my husband was informed he had an outstanding balance, this was said in the waiting area so all could hear... He didn't have an outstanding balance ... This is not the way to approach a patient, .... We have had issues with them before on schedules... The dental staff is very good, it's the receptionists that are so hard to deal with...

      I started going there July 2022, they had me to apply for a credit card which was for 3600 hundred dollars and I paid out of pocket about 900 hundred dollars, the only thing they have done is pulled 8 tooth, made me dentures that were to big for my mouth, I guess one size fit all, so every time appointment comes up it’s rescheduled or something, So I asked for a refund they told me I wasn’t getting nothing back!! I’m so disappointed!! They got over 4000 dollars out of me and I’m supposed to accept that? Never!!

      I have been going to Aspen Dental at the Lexington location since 2019 and my mouth is in 100 % worse shape than when I started. The veneer cracked, broke, or fell out. Crowns fell out or broke, fillings fell out, bridges fell out , partial fall out when I am talking, eating etc. I've been trying to get my upper right bridge replaced for over a month now. For that period of time they have been telling me that their system is down. They have lied to me about appointments, promised that the repair they had to do would last, they haven't. I am a pastor and for a period of two months have had to stand before my congregation, conduct weddings, conduct funerals with gaping holes in my teeth in the front because the crowns broke off and bridge fell out. Where the bridge fell out the teeth the bridge was anchored to rotted out because decay under the bridge. Now these rotted teeth hurt constantly and a knot on the gums. I have constant pain in my gums and they bleed at the slightest touch., brushing, trying to eat etc...I cannot talk to these people because they are rude and don't really care what i say. About 9 weeks ago the dentist said i need a root canal on a tooth that the crown had come off. I tried to tell the dentist he had already did the root canal. But he said it had not and needed to be done. The person in the front office told me i had to pay for it, up front, or they would not do it . They would not put my crown on without the root canal. I had to pay them in order to get my crown replaced. I did. When I got to the dental chair and the dentist started the root canal, yep, you guessed right, the root canal has been done. Incompetence or incomplete data in the records in the computer. It's a toss-up. I am sharing my experience with everyone I can so folks wont have to go through the pain, suffering, and expense that I have. They need to shut the Lexington office down. I rate them "F".

      Scammers.website said FREE consultation for implants,on arrival I again told them I was there for a FREE consultation, they told I would not be charged for the days services.I was charged and apparently my insurance was also charged.I called to query it and was told they charge for a cone X-ray,I was not told this and would not of agreed to it if I had.
      I was going to have my required dental work done at the Sunset blvd lexington branch,but not anymore.you can’t trust Aspen dental.

      I've been to 2 locations in the past year trying to get new Comfilyte dentures (their highest quality). I got a set in 2014 @ the Lexington, SC office & loved them. Over time my gums shrank & they became painful to wear. They claim to have your dentures ready in days, but I had 13 appts from Feb-May, & the dentures didn't fit & they were buck toothed! I'd pd $1800 in March, they billed my ins. Co 5/13 but dentures weren't finished until 5/23. I took them home to show my husband how bad they were & returned them on 5/24. They refunded my deposit & said they'd cancel/refund my ins. but it would take 30 days. Not only did they fail to cancel their claim, they filed the claim again in June after a request for more info. My ins. co paid them in July & they didn't refund them. I notified the office & my ins. Aspen said they'd fix it. I had an appt @ another location, different doc & staff in Nov. When I showed up @ the Garners Ferry loc on 11/15 I was told my ins still had not been refunded.
      Most of the staff @ this loc were great. One nasty lady up front. The office is an hours drive for me. They tried to make new Comfilytes, but couldn't get the fit right, teeth were crooked, dingy & uneven. Not the same quality as 2014. I found out at my last appt they changed the way they make them, and not for the better. I had all my teeth removed due to a medical condition in my 30`s, I had beautiful straight teeth but meds were rotting my roots. I refuse to settle for jacked up dentures. They used to set the teeth one at a time, but now use strips. I will be returning this pair today and looking for someone else. I'm sure getting my insurance refunded will be a mess. Aspen offers a 90 day money back guarantee, they shouldn't bill insurance until all adjustments have been made & the customer is happy with the end result. I can't really wear my old dentures due to pain, I've suffered for a year & have to start all over again. Not worth half a star!
