    I hired *******'s (the owner) property management company to manage my long term rentals. On June 11, 2023 I received a report from a tenant that they couldn't get a hold of the property management and there was an emergency leak that was starting to flood. I reached out to ******* (owner of the company) who said he would send someone out tomorrow to resolve the issues.A week past and a tenant reached out to me again saying they couldn't contact the property management company and that the leak was getting much worse and there's a bunch of flooding and that no one ever came. I then found someone myself ASAP to fix the issue & incurred a $4,200 bill which would have been less than $1,000 had it not been neglected for a week! I also shouldn't be the one needing to manage my own property as I'm paying this company to handle the management. Anyhow, this company was negligent & lied to me saying the leak and flooding was handled and taken care of. Due to ******* unresponsiveness I incurred over $3,200 in avoidable bills so I fired ******* and his company from managing my properties. ******* is now ignoring my attempts to contact him so that I can receive the at least $6,100 in security deposits that ******* is holding that are rightfully mine / my tenants!I've tried to contact him many times via phonecalls, text messages, and emails and he hasn't responded since before July 24, 2023.I would like him to pay me the $6,100 he owes me immediately (my tenant's security deposits) and I'd also like to request if he can help pay some of the $4,200 bill that I incurred due to his negligence and blatant lies to **** can send message screenshots, contracts, invoices, etc. upon request.

    We rented a condo at ***************** through *********************************. Upon arriving at the condo there was a distinct moldy, musty, earthy smell. Upon further investigation I found black mold under the kitchen sink, in the main living area. I have photos. I contacted the host. He refused to contact me back. I contacted VRBO (who we originally booked our reservation through). **** told me to try contacting the host, they also contacted the house. He would not return any phone calls or emails, or messages. I then contacted VRBO again as my children were becoming ill, especially my son with asthma. We originally booked the condo in ************ from April 10-April 15th. By April 13th we told the host that the smell was becoming so bad and it was affecting our children. They were coughing terribly, had runny noses, watery eyes and complaining of headaches and stomachaches. He told me if it is that bad he suggests that we check out of the condo. I then asked him if he would provide other accommodations as we had already paid a great deal of money to stay here, to which he didn't reply. I then contacted VRBO again around 7 pm. They told me to try the host again and they would do the same. We never heard back. I did the same thing the moment we woke up, **** told me to contact the host again- which I did, and he did not respond. We ended up leaving in the middle of the night on Thursday. When we were on our way back at 2:30 in the morning I texted the host to tell him we were leaving and he responded telling me he would refund me. When I returned home I contacted the host several times, as well as VRBO regarding the refund for our horrible experience and for the illness we all experienced and are still suffering from. He has not returned a single phone call, email, or attempt to contact him. When I called VRBO they said that they have reached out to him requesting he refund ** for the stay due to the black mold being in the condo. He has not responded to any of their attempts either.
