  Our family was disappointed with the medical care provided to our 92-year-old mother by Dr. John F***** and his team (Doctor, PA, & NP) from Liberty Doctors. My mother was a new patient of Dr. F*****’s living at *********** *******. She went into steep physical decline on 29 Aug 2023 from an apparent UTI w/ high blood pressure and difficulty swallowing. I called Dr. F*****’s office and described the situation and the office manager said Dr. F***** would call me back that afternoon. He did not call back and her condition continued to decline. I called back 2 days later, and the office manager said she didn’t know why Dr. F***** had not returned my call but she said he’d call me back later that day. Once again, he did not call back. Dr. F*****’s PA finally called on 1 Sep, saying he’d received a message that I’d called but had no info on my mother’s situation. I explained her condition again and stressed she needed to be seen right away. He said no one from his office could see her until 6 Sep (almost a week later). I said she was too sick to wait that long, but he insisted there was nothing he could do. My mother finally aspirated on 2 Sep and we rushed her to the hospital by ambulance, where she had an elevated white blood cell count of 230K, sepsis, a significant salt deficiency, and likely aspirational pneumonia. Because of her age and condition we decided not to have her intubated and placed her in hospice care at the hospital, where she died on 5 Sep. Had Dr. F*****’s team responded in a timely manner, I believe my mother would be alive today. When I asked Dr. F***** on 6 Sep why he hadn’t returned my calls he said he could not explain that, except to note that he was overseeing « the care of over 700 patients in three counties. » I responded that that number of patients was clearly more than he and his team could handle and that he did my mother and all his other patients a gross disservice by spreading themselves that thin.

  If you need a good doctor you won't find one any better than Dr. Heather Dawson. She is like a dog with a bone! Dr. D will find your health problem and get you better. The office staff is professional and very nice. You don't find that in a lot of offices these days. Dr. Dawson is also my sisters doctor. I feel so much better after I have seen Dr. D. God blessed me when he sent me to her. She is a Christian and understands your problems. I find her very easy to talk to about all my problems. Liberty Doctors is lucky to have a doctor with her qualities and so am I. Take care and God bless!
