    10/20/2020 Date of service from Prisma Health Hospital. I have stated to the billing department sent my insurance information and my insurance information stating they have paid this billed and I owe nothing. However I am getting billed. What I’m submitted is what I have submitted to the billing, however they’re still trying to get money that I don’t owe.

    The patient submitted the EOB to Prisma Health, however, per a conversation with the VA, we were advised there was no authorization on file for this Emergency Room visit. The EOB the patient submitted appears to be for the ER provider, not the hospital. Hospital billing and physician billing are separate billing entities. If the patient can provide the VA authorization number for this date of service, we will be glad to submit the hospital claim to the VA. We apologize for any inconvenience to the patient.

    More than one of their departments continually mess up the insurance providers. In this particular instance, they put me down as the patient and my father down as the guarantor, when the patient was my son, Cyrus, and I am the guarantor. My father has nothing to do with this. The only mix up is that my middle name is my father's name. We've called multiple times to get it fixed and they've fixed parts of it, but they haven't fixed any more. It has literally been every time we've been there, they've messed up the insurance. This particular instance is egregious because I've worked with them many times, opened tickets and they still keep messing it up. Please call them to have this fixed.
