    As a U.S. military veteran with a fully trained and registered psychiatric service dog, I was refused access to this motel upon check-in, despite explicitly stating that my dog was a service animal protected under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The owner refused to let me stay, claiming he was “allergic to dogs” and dismissing federal law.

    I had to find another place to stay late at night after a long day of travel. Fortunately, another nearby hotel accepted my service animal without issue, as required by law.

    What’s worse is that the motel owner later posted a public online response filled with personal attacks and demeaning language, calling me a “selfish liar” and a “sub-human.” Businesses must not treat veterans or people with disabilities this way.

    If you are traveling with a service animal or simply expect professionalism and legal compliance, I strongly suggest avoiding this business.

    Horrible dump. The place is falling apart and the owner is the worse person I have ever met. Read all the horrible reviews of this place and move on to anywhere else

    This place is a dumpster don’t get scammed when it’s said rustic when I got there I think they mean rotten, not rustic
