Poorly ran. Management blows you off if you complain about your service and acts like you're not paying for a service. They give you your paperwork and do not explain why things are circled on it. Paperwork Said my engine was leaking and the service advisor said nothing. While in waiting for my car I overheard a manager screaming on his phone "I'm the only f'ing manager in the dealership," "I can only handle so much of this f'ing s***."
I and my mother in law found this to be very offensive. This is the type of management you employee.

First off I have had great experience with everyone except the service department. The sales and parts guys have been great! But We have had numerous problems with the service department, from untorqued lug nuts. Crushed oil filters, cabin filters they claimed were changed that were not and most recently they said the vibration was from the brakes were bad when they were not, had an obvious bent rim, I have called 8 times and left 3 messages for les Nelson the so called supervisor and he is never in the office and does not return calls. Terrible quality of work and even worse customer service from the service department, do not bring your vehicle here even a simple oil change!

Poorly run service department at Menholt Toyota Rapid City, SD!!
Had an 8:30 am appt on 7/14/23. Arrived several minutes early and after waiting 15 minutes to speak with service advisor Michelle, we were informed that we would have to wait until they could “get to us” because some others (without appts) had arrived ahead of us! If a dealership insists on making you schedule an “appointment” then they have an obligation to service your vehicle on or about the time scheduled!!! This is not our first poor experience with Denny Menholt Toyota of Rapid City either!
We tried having service scheduled with them 2 years ago and their poorly run service dept gave us the run around, not to mention a very poor attitude! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!! CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED!!
