    They can't respond to emails in a timely manner. Nobody responds on the customer service chat either. They tell you that they email paperwork when in reality they forgot to send the paperwork. Finally got a hold of someone and they said it could take 30 days for my suppressor to arrive once shipped. Nobody is dumb enough to believe the post office is slow enough to take 30 days to deliver something. I get ammo arriving in 3-4 days all the time. They are being unethical and blame the post office for their slow production/backlog of paperwork. I came on here and read a lot of the bad reviews and realized that there is a pattern of behavior from this company. They make you pay for your suppressor upfront and only have a 30 day refund policy from the date after you paid. This creates a situation where they can take advantage of customers and treat customers like crap for the next 9-10 months and they know you can't do anything about it. It was bad enough that I tried cancelling my order twice and asking for a refund twice already. I'd still cancel if I could just based on principle, I honestly don't mind waiting another 9 months with another company. I have a strong feeling my suppressor will take an absurd lengthy of time to be delivered to me. For $2000, you might as well take your money elsewhere.

    Applied 09/21. As of 11/22 nothing but e-mails saying pending. *** says 6 to 9 months wait on paper work. I contact Silencer central and get only lip service. Then I am "transfered" to the *** who "are looking at" my application and tell me its now a "12 month process" even though its been over 14 but they will transfer my "up stairs" to the person who approves the application. I then get hung up on in the proccess with no call back. This is my third time calling them. I had a secret security clearance with the ARMY and worked for my state with criminals for 25 years. I get yearly background checks so i know thats not an issue. Seems like customer service is priority until they get your money.

    A week ago this review would have been one star, but because of their excellent customer service, I'm giving them 5. I ordered a suppressor summer of 2021 while I lived in Mississippi, but then moved to Florida later that year. Now, after the *** had approved it, they were unable to ship it because I had moved. Even though I had told them last year when I moved that it would be no problem. At first I was distraught, because I would have to start the process all over, but after talking with Ben ********, he was able to get me an upgraded suppressor, at no additional cost! I do have to wait again, but they made sure to take ownership of the problem and make it right. Thank you Ben for your excellent customer service!

    Not the best experience. 7 months ago I ordered a suppressor. Customer service told me their current turn around was 180 days. I couldn't believe it. It's been 7 months. Called them and asked about rifle threading. Explained what rifle I had and they assured me there wouldn't be a problem. Paid the $50 to ship it to them and received an email today, stating that they can't thread barrels on lever guns. So I called again and explained the situation. So I'm just out time and $50. The money isn't the issue, it's their service and lack of knowledge. I wish I could cancel my silencer order and take my business elsewhere, but they said they won't. Don't trust this company.

    Yes the paperwork and tax stamp process is made easier but it seems they use the *** hold up as an excuse not to deliver product! I am almost 1 year into the process and have nothing to show for the money I spent or not even a solid date on when I can expect my product that has been paid in full for. Would not recommend using this company! And I have a clean record and no flags to be a hold up on as a side note and already in system as a weapons permit holder!

In general, I respect that waiting for your product can be frustrating. I want to reiterate, you are waiting on the *** and *** to approve your product. You and I both are waiting for your approval so we can legally transfer your suppressor to you and we cannot do that by law until you are approved. I appreciate the business and your comments.     So, first off I have only had one point of contact with silencer central, and it will stay that way moving forward. I called to get some questions answered several months ago and spoke with a representative named Drew. That dude, legit should run the training for all CSR's everywhere for every company 4 EVUH. He answered all my questions and gave me his contact number to reach out when I was ready to make a purchase. Months later, I texted him, on a holiday non the less and he responded promptly. Not only did he set me up with the most streamline process I have ever had with any FFL/NFA transaction, he answered every little question I had. He recommended his unbiased suggestion on the product that fit my needs. He was super professional and personable, really feels like I gained friend over this process. Keep up the good work Drew and don't stop hustling.

    Worst company in the state , when I bought in March of 2021 they told me 9 months. ******************************************************** Won't give my money back , and blaming everyone but themselves. In reading the other reviews , I have had the same experience.. Hope no one else get caught up in this bad company... They are in Sturgis every year.. stay away from them

    I've been very happy with the process so far. Been able to communicate through text, e-mail, and phone calls with quick responses. They have moved at the pace I've been able to move and even sent reminders for things that needed to be done. I was told 5-6 months from start to finish, they have processed all the paperwork in an acceptable time frame, now waiting on the ***. Their website is showing 100 days to process Form 4. If that is the case, shouldn't have any trouble with that 5-6 month wait time.

    After 6 months of research, I decided on a suppressor from Silencer Central based largely on their sales pitch of electronic filing and customer service. They told me 90-120 days total wait time, with lots of communication from them during that time. After 160 days with no suppressor and no personal contact, I talked to a smug rep who told me "I" had chosen to file by paper which would take 10-12 months. Ummmm....wrong. I simply signed on the dotted line after their sales rep did all the filing on an iPad. Their sales manager admitted "someone" on their end had checked the wrong box on the filing. "Sorry. Nothing could be done but wait." Here I am....180 days in, with another 120-180 days to go. No clue what the product quality will be, but customer service is horrible!!! Choose another vendor!

    Wish I had never chose to deal with Silencer Central. Made my order and paid in full for two silencers and attachments in September of 2021. Received emails stating that the *** had my paperwork and had 30 days several months ago. At the time I ordered I was told wait time of seven. To eight months. That time frame just keeps expanding and ever time I call it's the ***'s fault. Then I'm told there will be no refund and it may be 15 months. The last service rep I spoke to says that the only refund will be if denied by the *** and then they will retain 25 percent. My advice is not to do business with them and if you do don't order over the phone. Make sure to do online so you can review their rip you off policies. Don't be expecting anything inside two years and you might not be disappointed
