    Mike seemed very knowledgeable and helpful, but he absolutely failed to mention in two phone calls the long ATF wait time to get a silencer. I feel that this information should be "featured" from the very start. I knew very little about silencers, including the approval process, when I originally contacted Silencer Central. Had I known how long it would take, I might not have made my purchase - and I think Silencer Central knows this. Not making this fact VERY clear up front is a very poor business practice, and borders on a classic "bait and switch." Be forewarned...

    Been calling Silencer Central since January requesting a refund because my ATF form 4 came back disapprove, they said they will put in a request for the refund and should receive a refund check in 7-10 days, waited two to three weeks and called back again but every time I called in to ask about the refund they said the refund been request and I get the same answer you will get a refund check in the mail 7-10 days....I'm still waiting for my refund check, I'm tired of calling in because I keep getting the same answer. I don't know silencer central is still in business with all these bad reviews and complaints...I just want my refund back please.

    DO NOT PURCHASE from this company. They keep your money no matter what and are a scam. No customer service and no help! I'm going to have to dispute the charges with my credit card as fraud since they have not provided me with any goods or services for the money they charged my credit card.

    BUYER BEWARE!!!! Silencer Central is shady, we paid in full for 2 silencers, but never received them, stating issues with the ATF, we both have CCWs so there is no issue. Since we purchased our silencers in August 2019 they changed their policy and will only refund us 75% of our purchase. Again this policy was not in effect when we paid for and purchased the silencers back in 2019. Yes, I said August 2019, they lie when you call them, and give you the run-around.

    Don't use Silencer Central. They won't help you. I had a legal matter when I was young. I have the paperwork of the discharge. I told them before I started the application about it. I got a letter of no decision due to needing more information. I have the paperwork which I used to get my concealed permit. Silencer Central keeps telling me to do something different and none of these will get the paperwork needed to keep my Silencer. They will tell you they will call you back...HAHHA. They never will. I asked for a refund because they won't approve me and they say its pending refund..HAHA They won't tell me if and when I will get just 75% of my money back. They have had my money for 18 months and don't care to help me just get the paperwork I have in the right hands to get an approval. This company should be shut down!!.

    If you want to get longer waiting time please order your suppressor from SC, my form 4473 to Cleo was received on the 20th of January 2023 and it was approved and my application status did not change to ship and talk to them. they said that was a back log on the shipping department who knows when my suppressor will be ship and not only *** put your suppressor in jail, the seller which is Silencer Central put it in jail too, today is January 31 and have no word from them and their promise is after form 4473 approve your suppressor will be shipped within 7 days and reality is not,.

    Do not order from SC. It has been nothing but issues, delays and excuses. We all understand how long it takes for the *** to approve forms this is not the reason for the delays. Took 5 weeks to certify (there is no form 3 transfer involved just company delay) it has now been 40 days since approval and I am getting zero help trying to notify my sheriff. Supposedly they have had my Cleo letter for over two weeks now. (Supposedly took them a week to send the letter and took 2 weeks to get there via certified mail; I'm not buying it) for the amount of money you spend you'll be waiting months longer then actual approval process takes. Instead of just owning it they give you excuses it's no wonder when you ask to talk to a manager there response is well they are really busy could take a while to get to your account.. shocker

    I've always dreamed of having a suppressor, Silencer Central turned my dream a nightmare! The first issue I have with this company was the misleading wait times. I can't blame them totally for this because the *** does take a while to process form 4's, mine took about 9 months. My issues with the company came after my approval. I notified SC that I would be moving and would no longer be residing in the state where I started my process. I gave them my new address and they assured me it would be no problem for me to just have it shipped to my new location. This was a lie! I had to drive four hours and retrieve my items. When I called, the lady that works there (Liza) was very nasty when I spent almost $2k for an item. She threatened to update my address and start my process all over again all because they gave me bad information and when I asked to speak with a supervisor they transferred me to a voicemail where I left a message and nobody called me back. Now this is of course after (Andrew) ************** told me it wouldn't be an issue. I also had to ask three separate times for two .30cal muzzle brakes when I specified that's what I wanted when I first placed my order. They are unorganised, rude, and just mean people. Their are a lot of cans on the market which are cheaper don't be me. Do some research and don't impulse buy, especially from this place. I will not be doing any business with this company in the future and I would advise you not to as well. Silencer Co will receive all of my business from now on.

    DONT BUY as soon as they have your money they don't care about customer service or getting what you paid for cost me 61 days and counting still haven't received what I paid $1300 for bad business and bad customer service

    I placed 2 separate orders for barrel threading. I shipped off my 1rst rifle and received an e mail a few weeks later stating that they could not complete the threading and were shipping my rifle back.. It took several weeks and a phone call to get my rifle and my money refunded. After the bad experience, I canceled the service. I canceled the service in the 1rst week of December and hadn't received anything. It's now Jan 5th and several e mails and phone calls to the almost non existent Customer Service. I was billed 237.00 for a service that I didn't receive and I can't get my card refunded. I have reported the charge to my bank and pursue it as a fraudulent charge. This company is nothing but shady, I'm so glad I hadn't purchased a suppressor from them yet.
