  This is a disreputable business whose subcontractors perform substandard work. Deviney apparently does not hold their subcontractors accountable for their piss-poor performance. Deviney was contracted by *** to install components of their fiber optic network, in my neighborhood. Deviney then subcontracted the actual work to another business. The subcontractor butchered my lawn during their installation, to point that a sinkhole developed in my yard within days of the installation. I contacted Deviney and spoke with **** *****, who gave me the mistaken impression that he would have the problem rectified. Apparently the same subcontractor came back out. Although the sinkhole was repaired, a large brown area, with dead grass and visible soil erosion remains in my yard in a highly visible location near the street, adjacent to my mailbox. This disfigured eyesore has been present in my yard since July. Despite numerous conversations with Deviney, **** *****, in particular, this issue has yet to be *********** this point I have no confidence that Deviney will complete the job and restore my yard to its original condition as ATT committed to do, in their notification of the fiber optic installation. I would never willingly do business with this company again, in fact, I would not hire them to even water my lawn, they have no credibility and obviously take no pride in the quality of work performed by their contractor are not capable of hiring qualified subcontractors and overseeing their subcontractors to ensure that they are performing first-class work, as indicated by the other reviewers. I would give them a minus 100 stars if it were possible.

  This company is contracted by the local utility. They have unsupervised crews and do not inform the home owner they are getting ready to butcher trees. I had spoken with them 2 years ago letting them know I maintain the trees in my yard. Limbs had been kept away from power lines. Got home yesterday to butchered trees with no recourse for the damages. I understand the need to trim limbs, but mine were not above or near the lines. It is no wonder this company is not accredited, there would be far too many complaints from angry home owners.

  The company Deviney Construction sent employees to my residence on behalf of ATT after a phone and cable line were damage from a contractor that I hired to install a fence. This occurred because 811 personnel who were called before the installation of the fence did not **** the area off properly. Deviney Construction dug a large hole in my back yard so the lines could be repaired by ATT. Deviney Construction sent rude employees to my house that did not inform me about what they were doing. The company later sent employees to lay sod down on the area where they had dug a hold. I was told that my yard would look better once it rains but it did not. I have pictures that I sent to employee *****, who identified himself as a supervisor. He and I were communicating via text messages, which I have. He told me he would send employees to back to my house to lay new sod down. This was back in June. No one ever returned. I spoke with ***** today and he stated no one would return to lay new sod because I did not water the sod. This is not what I was told. I was specifically told that the rain would take care of everything. I would like new sod installed like I was promised. I have the text messages to prove he told me new sod would be installed.

  Deviney was contracted out by ************** to cut limbs, they came in my yard and mad ruts three feet deep, when I complained and asked them to fix it Supervisor **** told them to just throw grass seeds in the yard. I suffer with severe depression and my yard is the only thing that helps, now I can't cut my yard in that area because of ground up limbs and rock that was put in my yard. My yard is still messed up. I found out later with proof that the man that was driving the equipment was on cocaine, the company new it.
