    You will end up paying more than you think. Got a great price on a cardiac stress test. Scheduling was more difficult than advertised - it took about a week of phone calls and some faxing. There was some confusion when I checked in at the hospital on how they would do it - but I thought it worked. Then I started getting the additional bills - hospitals seem great at coming up with these additional charges after the fact that they don't tell you about. And MD Save says yeah too bad, we're covered by the fine print.
    It's a step forward I do admit so 2 stars, but I'm furious that you still can't know and compare costs for medical procedures ahead of time because of the creative billing process. The medical industry in America just ******

    We have reached out to the site regarding the scheduling issue and add-on charges. The voucher that was purchased clearly states in the procedure details that the physician fee is NOT covered and will be a patient responsibility.

    Yes - and I paid my cardiologist to review my test results. The fact that the hospital tacks on a charge for some cardiologist to also review my test results - a doctor that I have never seen or heard from and have no communication with, is completely unnecessary. The hospital spent quite a bit of time scheduling me, verifying they would get paid from MDSave etc, but never bothers to mention they are going to tack on a charge for ANOTHER physician to review the tests - it's just a deceptive business practice. I have had multiple cardiac stress tests - this is the first time anyone other than my own cardiologist charged me to review the test. This is why the medical-industrial complex in America is so terrible - it's all about profit and ripping off the patients for as much as you can.

    I need an MRI of my shoulder ASAP because of a rotator cuff injury. My insurance messed my account and changed me to another county without asking me. By the time I requested they change it back it will be another min of 30 days. In the meantime, all drs and orthopedists in my insurance refuse to see me. My friend who is a doctor told me that I need to take care of this right away. I was able to get an order for an MRI, scheduled it and paid MD Save. Now, they called me one business day before the appointment to tell me "they have to cancel it and refund my money because the provider is not in their network". How can this be? Dont they have to honor what they offer once you pay for it? I am very upset. btw i still dont see the refund on the card.

    We have researched this complaint with our provider partner.  Education has been performed at the site level with this provider.  They did inform us that the patient has been rescheduled to be seen this week.  The voucher was cancelled on 4/12, when the patient requested it be cancelled and the refund was also processed.  I confirmed that the refund went through on our end and was told that it could take five business days for it to show up on her credit card. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience.

    Had Knee Replacement Surgery and I needed Physical Therapy exercises. MDsave was recommended by a Hospital Service Representative for Outpatient if I am Budget Limit. I couldn't afford in Home so I went Outpatient and MDsave came out very reasonable for my budget. Services and paperwork was taken care of at the **** ***************************** area and they're Great Physical Therapist to work with. Thank You Again for stepping in when I needed it the most!!!!!
