      DO not fall victim to this unorganized company in terms of accepting employment. You will be lied to about the working conditions, environment and work/life/family balance. Nurses are burnt out, venting is constant, high caseloads, gossiping co workers, micromanaging, poor leadership, DCS leaves early encouraging office to be closed before 5 which is against company policy in case a patient or care giver calls, more so in event of death. Area manager *************, *********, and threatens. Illegal ********, which is why theres a few lawsuits out that have been closed and Compassus found guilty. Run as far away from this toxic place as possible. It should he shut down, not enough staff to take on the load and it does a great disservice to the patients, families, and employees who actually truly care.

      I was employed through an agency as a temporary nurse to help with a self inflicted staffing shortage. It later came out that Compassus had fired multiple of their nurses for not working different hours than employees were originally fired for. I was hired to work 8-5 Monday - Friday. I was assigned 7-11 patients every day ranging from ***** miles apart from each other. When I requested a lighter load, to ensure that I could provide the best care to each of my patients and familys I was scolded. I was told by *************** that the expectation was to work after 5pm to get charting and visits completed. When I explained this was illegal, and I would need to be paid overtime to work outside of my scheduled hours I was fired. This company only cares about the money. They provide terrible working conditions to their employees which then affects patient care. They do not operate from a place of compassion or frankly basic care of patients. I was disgusted working for this company and would NEVER let them take care of anyone I know. If you care about your loved ones you wont let them either.

      Compassus Hospice of ************* ** is neither caring or compansionate and our family does NOT recommend using them. They don't even deserve to be in business. Whether its a staffing shortage or just outright noncompliance, our mom was treated very poorly at the last days of her life and I would not want this to happen to anyone else. On top of the absolute lack of care she received, our family was not even notified by Compassus Hospice of her passing until many hours later and only after we got a call from a caring nursing staff member from the facility, because they had even been concerned that Compassus had not let us know. We don't want this to happen to anyone else and we have filed a complaint.

      Additionally the proper address of the service provider was not In ********* but rather the correct address should be *************************************************. This is the address that should be used, Unfortunately, this business is not closed since my experience with this company just took place during the middle of March 2024.

      Very unhappy with how this company treated me. I did not receive any phone calls, or communication after my father died, and I had to call them three times to get them to answer a simple yes or no question. Will definitely never recommend the company.

      I am rejecting this response because: I have yet to hear back from this company. I made a mistake, and I entered the wrong address for the business. It's located in ****** ********. It's like I said. My father passed away, and I received absolutely no contact from them, or aftercare. And I emailed once, and called them three times, before they were willing to answer a basic yes or no question as to whether or not someone was employed by them. I would like to know why I was treated this way. And I'm getting ready to contact a lawyer. Thanks.

We will continue to reach out in hopes you take full advantage of our Bereavement Program and to clear up any misunderstandings you may have.

      Better Business Bureau: I acknowledge that Compassus reached out to me in order to resolve this issue. I'm still very disappointed, but I think it's best if I let this matter go.
