  I am trying to get a construction loan approval and this had been the most frustrating loan ordeal of my life. I was approved finally but getting my builder approved has been a ridiculously hard process. I have bought 3 homes and built one and I have never had this issue. The lack of response and communication is VERY concerning, and it has made me look to other options for lenders because if it is this hard to get through the process, I fear when it comes time to needing draws, and getting to the finish line. I am very disappointed because I listen to **** ****** a lot and he highly recommends Churchill but I have not had a good experience at all. It seems like it's always something as to why the process is taking so long but they never reach out to tell me anything on why, it's me reaching out to see what's going on. I've never left a BBB review but I have wasted so much time with Churchill, I don't anyone else experiencing this same thing.

  Applying for ***** loan for home improvements. Filed completed application on 1/27/2025. Since then I have sent numerous inquiries about the approval status. I never received a response. Finally on 3/27/25 received email confirmation that a decision would be made on 48 hours. As of today I have not received confirmation of my loan status. As a business, I think that they owe me the courtesy of a response. Thank you for giving me to opportunity to share my experience.

  Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. We sincerely apologize for the lack of communication and follow-up you experienced during your recent loan inquiry.
  After reviewing your file, we acknowledge that your Loan Officer did not follow up in a timely manner to communicate the outcome of your loan application. This lapse in communication does not reflect the level of service we strive to provide, and we regret any frustration or confusion this may have caused.
  After further review of your loan scenario, your request was initially evaluated under the WHEDA program. During that process, it was determined that the loan terms would result in the loan exceeding federal high-cost thresholds. Unfortunately, due to this we are unable to grant credit under the terms requested and, as such, we are unable to proceed with this loan request. Your statement of denial has also been sent to you for your records.
  We understand how important transparency and timely updates are during this process, and we are taking steps to ensure better communication moving forward.

  I worked with Churchill Mortgage to finance my home with a zero credit score. I had no credit or house payments for about two years and my credit score tanked. With a zero credit score, they were able to perform a manual underwriting process and verify my ability to pay my bills on time. I have enjoyed working with them and would do business with them again.

  Most frustrating experience of my life. Admittingly we do not have great credit so before Churchill responds with that is the cause let me advise that it is not. We started the mortgage process in 12/2023 and by the end of 03/2024 we were no closer in getting approved. Every time they would ask for proof of something we would be very reactive and provide this information within a few hours sometimes of the ask, and they would respond that this should be all we need. Inevitably, they would take DAYS to respond to us only to say that they needed something else. Most times this was ridiculous items like pay stubs from jobs we haven't worked in a year or more. The reason that I know that this ridiculous is that we went through ********** **** we were approved within two weeks.

  I have never contacted Churchill Mortgage, but for the last few days I have been innovated with texts, emails and calls from Churchill. I never heard of this company before and don't know why they are harassing me non-stop. Obviously, they are desperate for business or pulling some kind of scam. These vultures need to stop there sick practice of harassment. I tried to call Churchill to ask them to stop. Shar answered the phone and stonewalled me. Refused to get someone on the phone and told me she would leave a message for them to stop calling me. It sounded like she get these calls daily. Then she just hang-up on me. I tried to call back but no on ever never answered. Working for phone company I was able to leave a voicemail message and bypass Shar. I want to know why they are calling, texting & emailing me constantly. What kind of company runs their business in this manner with this kind of employee who hangs up on people. Run from this mortgage company, there are reputable mortgage companies out there. Nobody should ever have to deal with this treatment.

  So you put on a contest and people entering this contest. Next, unbehnosnst to each individual, you take their personal information and use it to harassed that individual day and night. Now you are claiming you're a company which is based on honesty, integrity, and trust! I'm speechless by the irony of your statement. There is nothing honest or trustworthy in Churchill Mortgage actions. You trick people into getting their information and you use to call, email and text them constantly and then you claim to have intergrity. Laughable!
